After the explosive B4 major expansion in Pokémon TCG Pocket, the first minor set of the series (B4a) arrives in the form of Team Rocket’s Ambition, which, as the name clearly implies, is themed around the fan-favorite “bad guys’ of the franchise, Team Rocket!
As we prepare for this fun new set, let’s see what the trailer has done to make the excitement double (Team Rocket slogan reference)!
An official trailer for Team Rocket’s Ambition has been released, revealing a few cards from the new set.
The Team Rocket’s Ambition set will be released on Thursday, August 27, 2026, and is the B4a expansion.

Note that most of the cards above have the Pokémon name preceded by “Team Rocket’s.” For instance, it’s Team Rocket’s Mewtwo.
There are also a few Trainer cards shown:
- Team Rocket’s Boss Supporter: Look at the opponent’s hand and put any number of Basic Pokémon you find there onto your opponent’s Bench.
- Team Rocket’s Master Plan Supporter: Your opponent’s Active Pokémon is now Confused. Flip a coin. If tails, your Active Pokémon is now also Confused.
- Team Rocket’s Thieving Machine Item: Put a random Item card, except any Team Rocket’s Thieving Machine, from your opponent’s discard pile into your hand.
