Gigantamax Pikachu
Gigantamax Pikachu will debut in Max Battles during the event! Gigantamax Pikachu is a pure Electric type, meaning it is weak to Ground type moves.
Pikachu caught from Max Battle encounters will be unable to evolve. If you’re lucky, you may encounter a Shiny one!

Like all Gigantamax Bosses, you can catch the shiny version of Pikachu from a Gigantamax Battle. The difference is… subtle.
