The Pokémon GO Halloween 2023 event is live from October 19-26. This spooktacular event introduces the Greavard family, with Greavard and its evolution, Houndstone, making their debut. For the first time, trainers can catch the shiny Phantump and its evolution, Trevenant. Special Research is available, focusing on encounters with Ghost-type Pokémon, including the elusive Spiritomb.
An additional paid “Eerie Echoes” Timed Research for $5 offers encounters with Ghost and Dark-type Pokémon, and a special Halloween pose. The game will reward bonus candies for special catches, and Trainers above level 31 will receive additional Candy XL for hatching eggs.
One of the highlights of the event is the Spiritomb Limited Research, emphasizing on its 108 spirits. Complete it to earn encounters with shiny Spiritomb, Pumpkaboo, and other Ghost-type Pokémon. Don’t miss out on these thrilling festivities! 🎃 🦴

Eerie Echoes: Paid Timed Research
For $5, or your local equivalent, you’ll be able to access event-exclusive Timed Research. Complete the research to earn encounters with Ghost type Pokémon including Phantump, and Dark types such as Alolan Meowth, as well as a new Halloween pose.
Please note that Timed Research expires. The tasks associated with this Timed Research must be completed and their rewards must be claimed before Tuesday, October 31, 2023, at 8:00 p.m. local time.
