Coming this week in Pokémon GO, commencing 6th March we have the Festival of Colors, the return of Elite Raids with new raid bosses and more!
Festival of Colors
From March 8 to March 14, 2023 from 10am to 8pm local time the Festival of Colors takes place, introducing Mega Medicham, and Bruxish, the Gnash Teeth Pokémon. Shiny Smeargle will also be available from snapshots!

Elite Raids
On March 11, 2023 at 11:00am, 2pm and 5pm local time featuring Regieleki and Regidrago, debuting for the first time in Pokémon GO.
GO Battle League Season 14
GO Battle League: Rising Heroes will start on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. PT.
The following will occur at the beginning of the Season.
- End-of-Season rewards will be available on the battle screen.
- Your GO Battle League rank will be reset.
- Rank-up requirements will remain the same as the prior Season.

Spotlight Hour

From March 1 to March 8 Mega Charizard Y will appear in Mega Raids.
Medicham (Mega)
From March 8 to March 21 Mega Medicham will make their debut to appear in Mega Raids.
Five Star Raids
Tornadus (Incarnate)
From March 1 to March 8 Incarnate Forme Tornadus will appear in five-star raids.
Ho-Oh
From March 8 to March 21 Ho-Oh will appear in five-star raids.
March 2023 Research Breakthrough
Completing Field Research tasks leads to Research Breakthroughs, which now reward Trainers with different items in addition to encounters with a variety of Pokémon. Check out the Research Breakthrough rewards you can look forward to this Season!
- From March 1, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. PDT (GMT -7) to June 1, 2023, at 1:00 p.m.
PDT (GMT -7) - Complete Field Research tasks during the whole season to earn an encounter from a pool of Pokémon, including Parasect, Pinsir, Snorlax, Furfrou, Gible and Goomy.
