Carbink is a Rock and Fairy tier 2 Raid Boss with a CP of 8083. Optimal raid counters include Steel, Grass, Ground, and Water types. Carbink is one of the newest Pokémon in the game and is also a formidable force in the Great League meta. So, this is an excellent opportunity for trainers to grab it.

It is an easy solo for any trainer.

Unusually, it seems that during the in-person GO Fest events, and Global GO Fest, you will need to complete Carbink raids in order to earn Mega Energy for Mega Diancie!

Carbink Counters

Since Shadow Pokémon are extremely expensive to power up and require specific events to remove Frustration with a Charge TM, they will NOT be listed as raid counters in this article. That being said, if you have the shadow form of a listed raid counter Pokémon powered up and TMed, use it.
