Noibat will feature as a special tier 4 raid after Noibat Community Day finishes. It will have a raid boss CP of 8721, and with this expected CP, it is soloable! Typically these special tier 4 Community Day raids are not soloable, but Noibat will be. Lower level trainers, or those without ideal counters may want to bring a couple of friends to ensure success.
Tier 4 raid timers are 180 seconds long, so make sure you pick from the top counters and keep an eye on the time to win stat column to ensure your solo success.
These raids can only be participated in via in person raid passes, using either your free daily raid pass, or premium remote raid passes. You cannot partake in them using remote raid passes.
Completing these special raids will cause Noibat to appear around the gym in higher numbers, with the same shiny rate as during Community Day hours!
Noibat can be caught with the following CP values:
- 344 – 381 CP no weather boost
- 430 – 476 CP boosted by Windy weather boost
It can be shiny, and will need to be evolved before 10pm local time to obtain the Community Day move Boomburst on Noivern.
Best Noibat Counters
Since Shadow Pokémon are extremely expensive to power up and require specific events to remove Frustration with a Charge TM, they will NOT be listed as raid counters in this article. That being said, if you have the shadow form of a listed raid counter Pokémon powered up and TMed, use it.

As you can see, all of these counters will take less than 180 seconds to defeat Noibat, so be sure you are picking top tier attackers. It is possible for a single Mega Salamence to defeat a tier 4 Noibat according to our simulations.
Other options that are strong and under 180 seconds include:
- Regice with Frost Breath and Blizzard
- Rampardos with Smack Down and Rock Slide
- Dragonite with Dragon Breath and Draco Meteor
- Garchomp with Dragon Tail and Outrage
- Reshiram and Dialga with Dragon Tail and Draco Meteor
Noibat Moveset
Fast Moves | Charge Moves |

Noibat has quite a varied moveset, but it shouldn’t give you too much trouble. Wing Attack and Air Cutter will hurt the likes of Mega Abomasnow and anything else with a Grass typing, and Dragon Pulse will hurt your Dragon types, but Noibat has such low stats that either of these potential combos it shouldn’t really cause problems.

Conclusion
Noibat is the first special Community Day raid boss we have been able to solo, so for rural players who want to be able to grind more Community Day spawns, this is ideal! Break out those Ice types and take down the Sound Wave Pokémon.
