Treecko
Treecko is a Tier 1 raid boss in Pokémon Go and is a part of the Festival of Colors Event, running from March 15th, 10 AM – March 20th, 8 PM, 2022.
Treecko evolves all the way into the powerful and fast Sceptile, which also has a mega evolution. While Sceptile evolved during the event won’t learn Frenzy Plant, it doesn’t lose out on much as Leaf Blade traditionally makes Sceptile more dangerous. Sceptile is one of the top Grass types for PvE and Mega Scpetile is destined to take it many notches higher!
Not to mention, Sceptile has a gorgeous shiny! So this is a totally viable Pokémon to raid during the event.
Being a pure Grass type, it is weak to the Bug, Fire, , Ice and Poison types.
Treecko can be caught with the following CP values:
- 556 – 601 CP at Level 20, no weather boost
- 695 – 752 CP at Level 25 with Sunny weather boost
Treecko Raid Counters
Since Shadow Pokémon are extremely expensive to power up and require specific events to remove Frustration with a Charge TM, they will NOT be listed as raid counters in this article. That being said, if you have the shadow form of a listed raid counter Pokémon powered up and TMed, use it.

As a Tier 1 raid boss, Treecko shouldn’t give anyone much trouble. For a speedy takedown budget Fire type options like Pyroar, Arcanine, and any of the Fire starters will more than do the job quickly.
