Chrales, the regular Pokémon GO network traffic analyser, has found new quests in the network traffic! It appears to be quests related to the Adventure Week event that is supposed to take place at some point this month, according to a newsletter Niantic had sent out via email early in May. There is no indication of the rewards that will come with, nor when the quests will go live, however their presence in the traffic leaves much to speculate on:

  • “Adventure Week: Hatch {0} eggs.”
  • “Adventure Week: Earn {0} Candy walking with your Buddy”
  • “Adventure Week: Spin {0} PokéStops you haven’t visited before”
  • “Adventure Week: Evolve an Omanyte or Kabuto.”

The quests appear to incorporate the main theme of adventure, as it asks you to visit areas you had never been and walk to hatch your eggs. The last quest then indicates the same spawns of last Adventure Week which saw the rise of Rock type Pokémon, including somewhat rare fossil Pokémon such as Omanyte and Kabuto.
