Pokémon GO Fest 2023: New York City takes place from Friday, August 18, 2023, to Sunday, August 20, 2023, at Randall’s Island Park and throughout New York City. Attendees will enjoy exclusive gameplay, special bonuses, and more as they adventure alongside thousands of fellow Trainers and spend half their day in Randall’s Island Park and half exploring the larger New York City area!
General admission tickets are on sale now for the limited-time Early Bird price of $25 US, and regular admission tickets will be $30 US. Tickets are limited and will be available for purchase while supplies last on a first-come, first-served basis.

About
Pokémon GO Fest 2023 is coming to New York City, and we’re planning a big event for the Big Apple! GO Fest 2023: New York City is split into different experiences between two locations: Randall’s Island Park and throughout New York City!
Tickets purchased include both the Randall’s Island Park AND New York City experience-the only difference is the time of day Trainers are at each location.
Special early bird ticket pricing is available NOW until June 15, 2023. These discounted tickets are limited, so snag them early to take advantage of this cheaper ticket price!

Note: Morning and Afternoon Park Experiences are available, which determine the time of day Trainers can explore Randall’s Island Park and New York City. Early Bird pricing is available until June 15, 2023.
Morning or Afternoon
Trainers will have the option to purchase a Morning Park Experience or an Afternoon Park Experience. This will allow trainers to explore the park in either the morning or the afternoon, and explore everything New York City has to offer during the other half of the day.
You will only be able to play Pokémon GO within Randall’s Island Park during the Park Experience hours listed on your ticket.

Citywide Gameplay – $20
Extend the GO Fest fun and enjoy the city experience throughout New York City on the extra day, or days, of your choice! This add-on will give you an extra day of the citywide gameplay experience in addition to your primary event day.
NOTE: This ticket does not offer additional Special or Timed Research and does not offer additional Park experience time. The Randall’s Island Park event experience will only be available during your primary event day during the time indicated on your ticket.

How to Purchase Tickets for GO Fest 2023
You can purchase your GO Fest 2023 Tickets in two ways – via the Niantic Ticket store, or via the in-game store. Whichever way you choose the label “Tickets Available!” will appear next to any of the experiences that have not sold out yet.
All tickets will be sold on a first-come first serve basis. You will also be able to purchase a ticket for a friend at this time. You must be at least Great Friends with the trainer to purchase them a ticket.

Gifting a Ticket to a Friend
If you would like to purchase a ticket for a friend, while purchasing your ticket there will be boxes available for you to fill out the usernames of your friends you wish to purchase tickets for. One name per box! You can only purchase tickets for one date and time per purchase, so you will all receive tickets for the same experience.
Tickets for companions, parents, and guardians
Parents, guardians, companions, and partners who will be visiting the park do not have to buy a ticket to Pokémon GO Fest 2023 to enter the park. Entrance to the park is free for anyone visiting, as usual.
However, if you plan playing in the park during GO Fest 2023 hours, you will need a ticket, as there will be no spawns, raids, or special in-game features for players without a ticket.

A mega surprise from the heavens!
It’s time for sky-high adventure! Mega Rayquaza, the Sky High Pokémon, will descend from the ozone layer to appear in raids throughout New York City! Ticket holders will be able to obtain the items necessary to harness the power of this Mega-Evolving Pokémon during this event.
Trainers can complete an event-exclusive Special Research story as they explore New York City, learning more about this unique Mega Evolution and earning special rewards. For more information about Mega Rayquaza, head on over to our special article.
Tip: Take advantage of the event’s nine daily Raid Passes! For even more Raid Passes, you can purchase the Raid Lover add-on and increase the number of free daily Raid Passes you can earn during the event to up to 18 per day! Meet and greets with notable Trainers will happen during every park session of Pokémon GO Fest 2023: New York City, from August 18, to August 20, 2023. Each notable Trainer will only be available during either the morning park session or the afternoon park session. Lines may be capped early if necessary.
Trainers who do not have a ticket for Pokémon GO Fest: New York City on the day that a notable Trainer is appearing cannot participate in meet and greet activities.
