Trainers in Mexico, be on the lookout for something special today. According to an official tweet by Pokémon GO Latinoamérica (@PokemonGoAppLA), something special is taking place at all 7-Eleven sponsored PokéStop and Gyms in Mexico.
The tweet links to a post on 7-Eleven’s Mexican website that states “Get ready for a Legendary Day!”. The details are still fuzzy, but 7-Eleven Mexico tweeted out the following:
This Thursday will be legendary! Starting at 9PM we will have surprises near you in all 7-Eleven sponsored Gyms. #AventuraPokémonGO
With an earlier tweet clearly referencing an event called Legendary Day:
Get ready for a Legendary Day! Thursday, February 27, 2020 #AventuraPokémonGO
- More than 1,800 new PokéStops and sponsored Gyms
- Locations with sponsored PokéStops can reward players with exclusive field research, and locations with Sponsored Gyms are eligible for EX raids
