Trainers, the Japanese Pokémon GO X account posted a teaser for Machop Community Day Classic, featuring Machop throwing boulders in a cave.
We know from Niantic’s earlier posts that May Community Day Classic takes place on May 24, 2:00 p.m – 5:00 p.m., and we also know from May 2025 Events schedule that Gigantamax Machamp Max Battle Day takes place the same weekend, on Sunday, May 25. This seems like an ideal opportunity to return Machop for one more Community Day experience!
Machop was featured during the January 2021 Community Day, and the bonuses included 3× Catch Stardust, Payback Dark exclusive move, and the usual Snapshot encounters and extended Lure Module duration.
We are expecting a full reprisal of the event, including the return of the Machop Community Day–exclusive Special Research story called Straight to the Top, Machop!
