Mega Victreebel and Mega Malamar Debut at Pokémon GO Tour: Kalos!

Trainers, get hyped! During Pokémon GO Tour: Kalos two brand new Mega Pokémon first discovered in Pokémon Legends: Z-A will make their debut! Mega Victreebel and Mega Malamar will first debut at the in-person events in Tainan and Los Angeles, before being available during the global event!

Mega Victreebel and Mega Malamar Debuts

Mega Victreebel and Mega Malamar – two brand new Mega Pokémon – will debut first at GO Tour Kalos: Tainan and GO Tour Kalos: Los Angeles, then later at the GO Tour Kalos global event.

Both Pokémon were early featured Mega Evolutions introduced in the Pokémon Legends Z-A, with Mega Victreebel revealed in a found footage-style teaser and Mega Malamar was revealed after a week of Pokémon social media being absolutely  obsessed with Malamar.

Mega Victreebel is a super exciting new addition with 256 Attack, 181 Defense, and 190 HP, which results in 3835 Max CP at level 50! It ranks well both as a Grass type and as a Poison type attacker, and we have a feeling it will have a wonky overworld animation!

Defense 181
HP 190
Max CP (level 50) 3835

Mega Malamar

Mega Malamar makes its debut as well, but it is little more than a Pokédex entry, at least in Raids. Mega Malamar’s incredibly well rounded stats make it well… not great at pretty much everything.

Defense 222
HP 200
