Niantic Support has clarified that the current box sale will not end when Groudon and Kyogre leave the raid scene. The box sale will end on March 11, at 1:00 PST, roughly a week after the Lords of Water and Land leave Pokémon GO.
This info was given out by “Dana”, a Pokémon GO support representative, to a95pat, a reddit user who enquired about the contents and potential changes to the box contents.
As of now, it seems that the boxes will be available in their current form until March 5 for sure — Niantic refused to comment potential changes to box contents on March 5. If you’re looking into buying one of the boxes, we suggest doing it before March 5 just to be sure.
