Pokémon Tales: The Misadventures of Sirfetch’d and Pichu
During the Annecy International Animation Film Festival in France, the Director of Original Animation at The Pokémon Company International, Phil Rynda, spoke at Aardman Animation’s panel about the upcoming stop-animation project Pokémon Tales: The Misadventures of Sirfetch’d & Pichu. New artwork depicting the two main characters was shared, our first teaser since the initial announcement for the series!
Pokémon Tales: The Misadventures of Sirfetch’d & Pichu is described as “an epic journey through the wilds of Galar. Our heroes embark on a gallant quest to help and protect Pokémon across the region. Their missions rarely go as planned, but their noble deeds forge their friendship as they step bravely into the unknown. Peril, alliances, rivalries, extraordinary Pokémon, and endless laughs await them.”
The series is expected to be released in 2027, and is being made in collaboration with Aardman, a British animation studio most famous for their work on Wallace & Gromit and Chicken Run.

Cosmog in Café Remix
This week Pokémon Café ReMix has the “Cloud-like Cosmog” event which gives a new chance to get Cosmog in the game. The event runs until June 30th 2026 and all of the Pokémon featured have a star theme. Alongside this event a new Delivery Focus is live that also allows you to get Diancie’s Shooting Star, Jirachi’s Wishing Star and Mew’s Little Star outfits.
Toxtricity is coming to Pokémon UNITE
The latest episode of Pokémon Horizons: The Series, which aired June 19th in Japan, featured a group known as the Rising Volt Tacklers participating in an Unite Battle. This is part of the ongoing collaboration between the anime series and Pokémon UNITE. After the episode aired, the official social media accounts for Pokémon UNITE have announced that, Toxtricity, the only Pokémon in the episode’s Unite Battle that isn’t currently in the game, will be joining the UNITE roster soon, with details yet to be announced.

A host of Pokémon UNITE Gift Codes have been shared for the game as part of the ongoing collaboration with the Pokémon anime.

Pokémon TCG & TCG Pocket Rayquaza Theme
The Pokémon Company have teased the next set for both Pokémon TCG, Delta Reign and Pokémon TCG Pocket, Ruler of the Skies! These sets are being released as part of a special Soaring Mega Rayquaza campaign that is running over the summer months in Japan across the franchise with more announcements for other games expected to come soon.
The Delta Reign Pokémon TCG set will release on November 6th 2026. For Pokémon TCG Pocket, the Ruler of the Skies set will release in July 30th 2026.
Pokémon Sleep Level Cap Increase
Major updates are coming to Pokémon Sleep, with the update to version 3.6.0. The level cap is increasing, along with the max Pokémon level, recipe level, and more! The new level cap will be 70, and is something sleep researchers have been asking for for a few months now.

<em>POKÉTOON:</em> Sing! Dance! Altaria!
A new POKÉTOON episode is now available on YouTube. It introduces a Swablu who loves nothing more than singing for an audience, going on an adventure in the forest, and meeting a new friend, Kamina, a girl who also loves singing and has been searching for a partner.
POKÉTOON is an original animation series that airs exclusively on YouTube, and began airing in 2020. There are currently 20 episodes available to watch. It is an anthology series, so each episode can be watched out or order, independently.
