Trainers, it’s time to fill out another Pokedex entry! November field research focuses on Bug-type Pokemon, with the weekly Reseasrch Breakthrough features Shedinja! Shedinja will be available from November 1st to November 30th 1:00 PM PDT, and is only obtainable throughout November, so make sure to catch it while you can.
What about Ninjask and Nincada?
We’re quite sure we’ll see them as typical Field quest encounters, with Nincada being an especially popular option.
A lot of us wondered how Niantic will implement Shedinja, as it’s a Pokemon you get for evolving Nincada into Ninjask, without any special requirement. Shedinja represents the husk that Ninjask leaves behind during evolution, and in main series games it would just appear in your Pokemon box.
In the core games, Ninjask evolves from Nincada starting at level 20. Its evolution can trigger the creation of a second Pokémon, Shedinja, when the player has an extra Poké Ball and an extra slot in their party.
A new shiny?
Every month we get a new shiny family. This month’s featured shiny family is… CATERPIE!
