It seems that Spiritomb is about to make a return to Pokemon GO, as a new Spooky Message quest line has appeared in the code base as well. For those of you who need a reminder, our Spiritomb quest (A Spooky Message) guide: how to get Spiritomb in Pokemon GO has all the details on the last year’s instance of this quest chain.
Similar to last year, Spooky Message 2019 is split into three quest stages, with each stage consisting of three separate quests. Last year, only the first two stages were actual quests, the last stage was auto-completed when you reached it.
Parting words
Pokemon GO is clearly gearing up for the Halloween 2019 in-game celebrations. Today’s discovery fits perfectly with a couple of discoveries that were made recently and with the official content theme that’s pushed by Niantic.
In case you forgot, here’s what was recently discovered and follows the same “spooky” vibe:
- Darkrai marked as Transferable, hints at being introduced as a Raid Boss
- October Legendary Raid Hour Schedule has been shared, features Altered Giratina raid hours and an unknown raid boss on October 23 & 30, 2019
- Pokemon GO 0.157.0 APK Teardown has revealed that a new “global event” is to take place on November 2nd: “A ticket to access the “A Colossal Discovery” special event on November 2 from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM local time, wherever you are.”
- The latest Team GO Rocket themed wallpaper is clearly Autumn themed as well:
