Dive into an action-packed week in Pokémon GO starting March 18th! We enter the Season of World of Wonders. It’s another busy week ahead, with multiple events and weekend activities.
Weather Week draws to a close, with a focus on Castform and weather themed spawns.
Zarude returns from the jungle, via a special ticketed event, alongside the Verdant Wonders event.
Primal Groudon is here with a special raid day!
At the start of each month in the World of Wonders season, Trainers will be able to purchase a new ticketed experience for the Wonder Ticket that includes bonuses and Timed Research, and the introduction of Poipole into Pokémon GO.
But that’s not all – battle enthusiasts can gear up for the GO Battle League Season 18, while raiders prepare for epic confrontations with Regice in five-star raids, replaced by Tapu Lele, and Mega Sceptile and Mega Venusaur in Mega Raids!
And keep your eyes peeled for the elusive Shiny Shadow Raikou! There’s a plethora of adventures waiting, so trainers, gear up and set out!
Thursday March 14th 10:00am local time to March 18th 8:00pm local time is Weather Week! Enjoy a higher chance of encountering shiny Castform, along with special weather themed spawns, and 2x Stardust for catching Pokémon.

March 21-25 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. is the Verdant Wonders event, and Zarude ticketed event. Costume Cottonee will appear in GO for the first time, alongside shiny Flabébé!
March 23rd 2pm to 5pm is Primal Groudon Raid Day. Primal Groudon will appear more frequently in 5-Star Primal Raids, and you may encounter a Shiny one! The Remote Raid limit will be increased to 20 on Saturday, March 22, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to Sunday, March 23, 2024, 8:00 p.m. PDT.
More wonders await this season with the Wonder Ticket! At the start of Pokémon GO: World of Wonders, Trainers will be able to purchase a new, three-part ticketed experience that includes Pokémon encounters, a new avatar item, and seasonal Timed Research! Be sure to check out the in-game shop regularly! You’ll never know what wonders you may find.
GO Battle League: World of Wonders will start on Friday, March 1, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. PST (GMT −8).
The following will occur at the beginning of the Season.
- End-of-Season rewards will be available on the battle screen.
- Your GO Battle League rank will be reset.
- Rank-up requirements will remain the same as the prior Season.

Tuesday March 19th 6pm till 7pm local time we have Hippopotas, Vulpix, Snorunt and Poliwag as the featured Pokémon for spotlight hour, along with 2x XP for catching Pokémon.

Wednesday March 20th 6pm till 7pm local time Regice will appear in five-star raids, and it can be shiny!

From March 14 – March 21 Mega Tyranitar will appear in Mega Raids.

From March 21 – April 4 Mega Venusaur will appear in Mega Raids.

From March 14 – March 21 Regice will appear in five-star raids.

From March 21 – April 4 Tapu Lele will appear in five-star raids. It will know the special move Nature’s Madness during this time.

One-star and three-star Shadow Raids will be available daily, while five-star Shadow Raids will take place on Saturdays and Sundays, unless otherwise noted. Also, Shadow Raikou will swoop into five-star Shadow Raids during World of Wonders!

You may even encounter a Shiny Shadow Raikou—if you’re lucky!
The following bonuses are specific to Season 14: World of Wonders:
- Increased damage dealt by Pokémon participating in raids with Friends.
- One additional free Raid Pass per day by spinning Gym Photo Discs
- Increased XP for defeating one-star and three-star Raids, including one-star and three-star Shadow Raids
- From March 1, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. PDT (GMT -7) to June 1, 2024, at 1:00 p.m.
PDT (GMT -7) - Complete Field Research tasks during the whole season to earn an encounter from a pool of Pokémon, including Hisuian Sneasel, Furfrou, Goomy, Sandygast, Jangmo-o and Dubwool.
Starting this Season, Field Research tasks that previously rotated on a monthly basis will now rotate Seasonally. Field Research tasks that award an encounter with Spinda will still rotate monthly. For a full list of the season field research tasks check out our list here.
