About TCG Pocket
Pokémon TCG Pocket is a new app that was announced first during a Pokémon Presents hosted on Pokémon Day, February 27, 2024. Where Pokémon TCG Pocket was presented as a more casual way to experience the trading card game.
As opposed to the preexisting Pokémon TCG Live, which is a 1:1 digital conversion of the physical trading card game, Pokémon TCG Pocket does seem to be more of its own thing. You can get 2 booster packs every day in the game and battles have been more streamlined for quicker bouts!
For Pokémon enthusiasts who aren’t interested in battling there’s still much to look forward to as there are many ways to grow and show off your collection. Whether that be card highlights on your profile, multiple card art to choose from, or “Immersive Cards”, cards that allow you to “leap into the world of the card illustrations”.
