Mega Pokémon that boost Ralts

The following Pokémon will grant you extra bonuses when catching Ralts if they are Mega/Primal evolved.

A Note on Mega Catch Bonus

While a Pokémon is Mega-Evolved, additional XP and Candy is granted when catching a Pokémon that shares a type with it, or for any raid boss caught. These do not stack with each other. Additionally, High and Max Level Mega-Evolved Pokémon grant an increased chance to obtain Candy XL when catching a Pokémon that shares a type with it.

Is it worth evolving Ralts?

Gallade doesn’t hold much of a place in the PVP meta. In terms of PVE it is outshined by stronger Psychic or Fighting type attackers such as Alakazam, Metagross and Terrakion. However, if you do not have any of the strong Legendaries for PVE it would be useful to have some strong CP Gallades or Gardevoirs for Raids or Gym Battles. On another note, it would be worth trying to find a strong IV Male Ralts to evolve into Gallade. Although Mega Gallade is not yet released in game, there is no harm in getting ahead of the game.

Check out this article by one of my fellow writers here at GO Hub for a more in depth analysis of Mega Gardevoir and Mega Gallade in PVP, and this article for PvE. It is absolutely worth having a good Gallade and Gardevoir for their Mega evolutions!
