GO Battle Day: Stardust

On Sunday, May 14, 2023, from 12:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. local time paid, battle-themed Timed Research awarding increased Stardust will be available for US$1.00 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency) in the in-game shop.

The ticket includes the following rewards:

Stardust icon 25,000 Stardust
Candy icon 3x Rare Candy
Star Piece icon 1x Star Piece

You can buy a ticket for yourself, and can also gift a ticket to your friends from the in-game shop.

Available Leagues

 

Sunshine Cup: Great League Edition Rules

  • Pokémon must be at, or below 1,500 CP to enter.
  • Only Normal-, Fire-, Grass-, and Ground-type Pokémon are eligible.

The following Pokémon will not be allowed:

Bonuses

  • 4x Stardust from win rewards. (This does not include the end-of-set rewards and will not stack with the 3x Stardust bonus from Master League rotation weeks.)
  • The maximum number of sets you can play per day will be increased from five to 20- for a total of 100 battles- from 12:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. local time.

With a whopping 4x Stardust from win rewards, this is a no-brainer for those looking to obtain some of the most essential resources in Pokémon GO. Plus, being able to participate in 100 battles is the perfect opportunity to grind for rewards and ranks. Will you be up for the challenge?

Seasonal Avatar Item Rewards

Avatar items will be awarded to Trainers who reach certain ranks.

Trainers will be able to earn the following avatar items, and they’re all inspired by Palmer, the leader of the Sinnoh region’s Battle Tower in the Pokémon DiamondPokémon PearlPokémon Brilliant Diamond, and Pokémon Shining Pearl games:

  • At Ace rank, you’ll receive a top inspired by Palmer (Diamond/Pearl/Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl).
  • At Veteran rank, you’ll receive shoes inspired by Palmer (Diamond/Pearl/Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl).
  • At Expert rank, you’ll receive pants inspired by Palmer (Diamond/Pearl/Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl).
  • At Legend rank, you’ll receive the pose inspired by Palmer (Diamond/Pearl/Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl).

At rank 19, you’ll receive an Elite Charged TM. You’ll also receive an Elite Fast TM as an end-of-season reward.

Pokémon encounter rank levels are as follows:

Rank 1+

Rank 20+

Active Raid Boss in five-star raids

Ace+

Veteran+

Expert+

GO Battle Days can be a great way to grind out those ranks and receive better Pokémon rewards and new avatar items.
