Pokémon GO Fest 2026: Tokyo

Pokémon GO Fest 2026: Tokyo takes place from May 29 – June 1 at Tokyo Waterfront City and across Tokyo. Ticket holders receive exclusive gameplay, spawns, raids, and bonuses. Mega Mewtwo X and Y, along with Zeraora will make their Pokémon GO debut, along with Shiny Paldean Tauros.

You will only be able to experience the event gameplay within Tokyo Waterfront City during the Park Session time noted on your event ticket.

Mewtwo will return to five-star raids!

Mewtwo, the Genetic Pokémon, is returning to raids during Pokémon GO Fest 2026: Tokyo. This powerful Pokémon will be the ultimate addition to any battle-ready Trainer’s Pokédex. Mewtwo will appear in citywide Raid Battles throughout the course of the event.

Take some time to smell the flowers on your adventures!

Comfey will appear at all three in-person GO Fest events! Normally found in Hawaii, the Posy Picker Pokémon is known for its pleasant aroma. Catch a Comfey to support your battle-tested Pokémon. Comfey will appear in the wild at in-person GO Fest events and throughout the host cities.

Shiny Blaze Breed Paldean Tauros Debut ✨

Pokémon GO Fest 2026: Tokyo attendees will be able to encounter Shiny Aqua Breed Paldean Tauros for the first time in Pokémon GO—if they’re lucky. Each GO Fest will feature a different Paldean Tauros. It can be hard to spot, so be sure to watch out for those sparkles, here are the normal and shiny versions:

Take note: Only Trainers with a ticket to Pokémon GO Fest may encounter a Shiny Paldean Tauros form.

Shiny Wash Rotom debuts in Pokémon GO!

Wash Rotom originally made its Pokémon GO debut in 2020, and now lucky Trainers may encounter a Shiny one for the first time at the in-person GO Fest events in 2026.

Special Team Mystic Costume Pikachu Available

A special Costume Pikachu will only be available at GO Fest 2026: Tokyo! Each in-person GO Fest will feature a different version of Costume Pikachu. Tokyo is a Team Mystic themed Pikachu!

Massive Raid Battle

Conclude your Park session with a massive multi-thousand Trainer Raid to battle Mega Mewtwo X and Y! A group photo will take place at each climactic Raid to commemorate this exciting moment.

Zones

Four skill-based Zones throughout the host Park for Trainers to explore, complete Research, and become the very best. Trainers will receive a new Timed Research each hour based on which Zone they are in.

• Team Leaders will show off the best parts of their teams in the Recruitment Zone. Trainers can complete Raids, learn more about each Team, and put their PvP skills to the test at the Battle Ground.
• Explore through the Conservatory Zone to encounter a variety of Pokémon species. Pokémon from across your Pokémon GO Pokédex might appear.
• In the Cultivation Zone, you can learn about Pokémon through special event-themed Field Research, special event-themed Eggs and increased incubator effectiveness.
• Team GO Rocket’s Hideout has been discovered! Battle Team GO Rocket and take on Shadow Raids to reclaim Pokémon GO Fest for Blanche and Team Mystic.

GO Fest 2026 Tokyo Spawns

Event-themed Pokémon will appear in the park during the event. Outside of Tokyo Waterfront City, trainers playing throughout the city during their ticketed hours (including those with city-wide gameplay) can encounter featured event Pokémon from the park.

All attendees will receive the following bonuses and rewards anywhere in Tokyo on their ticketed day during event hours: 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. local time!

(*) Ticket-holding trainers will have an increased chance to encounter Shiny Pokémon, but Shiny Pokémon are not guaranteed by purchasing a ticket.

All ticket holders will receive the following bonuses and rewards anywhere in Tokyo on their ticketed day from 12:01 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. local time!

How to Buy Tickets for Pokémon GO Fest Tokyo 2026

Pokémon GO Fest 2026: Tokyo attendees may purchase a ticket for one day of the three-day event. One-day tickets are 200.00 kr (plus applicable taxes and fees) and are available for purchase here. Trainers who purchase a ticket will split their day between exploring Tokyo Waterfront City and adventuring throughout Tokyo, enjoying special exclusive event gameplay during both parts of the day.

The experience for both the Tokyo Waterfront City and throughout Tokyo are the same—the only difference is the time of day Trainers are at each location.

Park Experience

You can choose to buy tickets for any of the days—May 29 (Thursday), May 30 (Friday), May 31 (Saturday), or June 1 (Sunday), available in two time slots

• Morning Park Experience (9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. ET): With this Morning Park Experience ticket, you’ll spend the first part of your day within Tokyo Waterfront City before venturing into Tokyo for a second event-exclusive gameplay experience.
• Afternoon Park Experience (2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. ET): With this Afternoon Park Experience ticket, you’ll spend the first part of your day enjoying event-exclusive gameplay throughout Tokyo before heading to Tokyo Waterfront City to finish off your event day.
