7th Anniversary Event
From July 6, 2023 10:00am to July 12, 2023 8:00pm local time we are celebrating 7 years of Pokémon GO! Party Hat Wartortle and Blastoise debut, and there are rotating bonuses and spawns. There is a lot of information, so check out our full event guide!

Catching Some Z’s Event
From July 15, 2023 from 10:00am to July 16, 8:00pm local time we are Catching Some Z’s!
Komala, the Drowsing Pokémon, will make its Pokémon GO debut!
Celebrate the release of Pokémon Sleep and the Pokémon GO Plus+, with Snorlax, new avatar items, and other sleepy Pokémon!
GO Battle League Season 15
GO Battle League: Hidden Gems will start on Thursday, June 1, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. PT.
The following will occur at the beginning of the Season.
- End-of-Season rewards will be available on the battle screen.
- Your GO Battle League rank will be reset.
- Rank-up requirements will remain the same as the prior Season.

Tuesday July 11th 6pm till 7pm local time we have Wailmer as the featured Pokémon for spotlight hour, along with a 2× XP for catching Pokémon.

Wednesday July 12th 6pm till 7pm local time Articuno, Moltres and Zapdoswill appear in five-star raids.
Mega Raids
Blastoise (Mega)
From July 6 to July 13 Mega Blastoise will appear in Mega Raids.
Blaziken (Mega)
From July 13 to July 25 Mega Blaziken will appear in Mega Raids.
Five Star Raids
From July 6 to July 13 Articuno, Moltres and Zapdos will appear in five-star raids. They can be shiny.
Regieleki
From July 13 to July 25 Regieleki will appear in five-star Raids.

Season of Hidden Gems Research Breakthrough
- From June 1, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. PDT (GMT -7) to September 1, 2023, at 1:00 p.m.
PDT (GMT -7) - Complete Field Research tasks during the whole season to earn an encounter from a pool of Pokémon, including Sableye, Beldum, Audino, Furfrou, Noibat and Goomy.
Season of Hidden Gems Field Research Tasks
Starting this Season, Field Research tasks that previously rotated on a monthly basis will now rotate Seasonally. Field Research tasks that award an encounter with Spinda will still rotate monthly. For a full list of the season field research tasks check out our list here.
