Festival of Colors returns in 2025, with the debut of shiny Bruxish, shiny Smeargle returns in snapshots, and more from Thursday, March 13, at 10:00 a.m. to Monday, March 17, 2025, at 8:00 p.m. local time.

Dynamax Raikou Max Battle Weekend takes place from Saturday, March 15, at 6:00 a.m. to Sunday, March 16, 2025, at 9:00 p.m. local time!
Catch Mastery: Archen
The Catch Mastery: Archen event takes place March 16, 10:00 a.m – 8:00 p.m. Nothing else is known about this event at this time, but we assume that it will featured Timed and Field Research aimed at collecting as many Archen as possible.

On Tuesday, March 11th, from 6 PM to 7 PM local time, Roselia will be the featured Pokémon for Spotlight Hour, along with 2× XP for evolving Pokémon!

Five-Star Raids
From March 4th to March 13th, Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres will be featured in five-star raids.

One-star and three-star Shadow Raids will be available daily, while five-star Shadow Raids will take place on Saturdays and Sundays unless otherwise noted. Also, Shadow Regice will swoop into five-star Shadow Raids during Dual Destiny! You may even encounter a Shiny Shadow Regice—if you’re lucky!
Max Mondays
On Monday, March 10th, from 6 PM to 7 PM local time, Dynamax Drilbur will appear in Max Battles.

Might and Mastery Season Long Free Special Research
Available to claim from Wednesday, March 5, at 10:00 a.m. to Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at 9:59 a.m. local time, you’ll encounter Dynamax Kubfu and more with this Season’s Special Research!
New parts of the Special Research will unlock over the course of the Season, so make sure to keep an eye on your research tab.
Might and Mastery Power Up Ticket
Starting March 1, 2025, Trainers will be able to purchase the brand new Power Up Ticket for March in the latest Season of Pokémon GO, Season of Might and Mastery.
This ticket will help Trainers to get the most out of Season of Might and Mastery by granting bonuses such as one additional Candy XL awarded to Trainers level 31 and up for completing Raid Battles and Max Battles!
For US$5.00 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency), you’ll be able to access bonuses and Timed Research opportunities throughout March. The Power Up Ticket: March will only be available in the in-game shop until March 11, 2025, at 8:00 p.m. local time.
GO Battle League Season 22
GO Battle League: Might and Mastery begins Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. PST (GMT −8).
The following will occur at the beginning of the Season:
- End-of-Season rewards will be available on the Battle screen.
- Your GO Battle League rank will be reset.
- Rank-up requirements will remain the same as the prior Season.

A note on Seasonal Field Research tasks
During the Season of Might and Mastery, most Field Research tasks will be available during the entire Season, instead of changing every month. Field Research tasks that award an encounter with Spinda will still rotate monthly. Field Research available during in-game events will replace some of these Field Research tasks.
