Dive into an action-packed week in Pokémon GO starting April 22nd! We are in the second month of the Season of World of Wonders and have a busy week ahead.
Sustainability Week is here, with special 2km Eggs.
Cleffa Hatch Day brings with it more 2km eggs, and an increased chance of encountering shiny Cleffa!
At the start of each month in the World of Wonders season, Trainers will be able to purchase a new ticketed experience for the Wonder Ticket that includes bonuses and Timed Research, and the introduction of Poipole into Pokémon GO.
But that’s not all – battle enthusiasts can gear up for the GO Battle League Season 18, while raiders prepare for epic confrontations with Tapu Bulu, swapping with Registeel mid-week, and Mega Heracross in Mega Raids, followed by Mega Aggron!
And keep your eyes peeled for the elusive Shiny Shadow Entei! There’s a plethora of adventures waiting, so trainers, gear up and set out!
Sustainability Week
Pokémon GO’s Sustainability Week 2024 returns with a focus on Buddy Pokémon from the 22nd April, until 26th April. Buddy Pokémon will bring presents and souvenirs more often, they will hang around on the map longer, and you will need to spend 1/2 distance to earn Hearts with them. Ah, and we have a ton of shiny Pokémon which are available!
Cleffa Hatch Day
April 28th is Cleffa Hatch Day, from 2 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. local time! You’ll be more likely to pick up 2km eggs, and shiny Cleffa will hatch more frequently!
World of Wonders: Wonder Ticket
More wonders await this season with the Wonder Ticket! At the start of Pokémon GO: World of Wonders, Trainers will be able to purchase a new, three-part ticketed experience that includes Pokémon encounters, a new avatar item, and seasonal Timed Research! Be sure to check out the in-game shop regularly! You’ll never know what wonders you may find.
GO Battle League Season 18
GO Battle League: World of Wonders will start on Friday, March 1, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. PST (GMT −8).
The following will occur at the beginning of the Season.
- End-of-Season rewards will be available on the battle screen.
- Your GO Battle League rank will be reset.
- Rank-up requirements will remain the same as the prior Season.

Tuesday April 23rd 6pm till 7pm local time we have Trubbish as the featured Pokémon for spotlight hour, along with 2x XP for catching Pokémon.

Raid Hour
Tapu Bulu
Wednesday April 24th 6pm till 7pm local time Tapu Bulu will appear in five-star raids.
Mega Raids
Heracross (Mega)
From April 13 – April 25 Mega Heracross will appear in Mega Raids.
Aggron (Mega)
From April 25 – May 2 Mega Aggron will appear in Mega Raids.
Five-Star Raids
Tapu Bulu
From April 12 – April 25 Tapu Bulu will appear in five-star raids. It will know the new attack Nature’s Madness.

From April 25 – May 2 Registeel will appear in five-star raids.
Shadow Raids
One-star and three-star Shadow Raids will be available daily, while five-star Shadow Raids will take place on Saturdays and Sundays, unless otherwise noted. Also, Shadow Entei will swoop into five-star Shadow Raids during World of Wonders!

Season of World of Wonders: Bonuses
The following bonuses are specific to Season 14: World of Wonders:
- Increased damage dealt by Pokémon participating in raids with Friends.
- One additional free Raid Pass per day by spinning Gym Photo Discs
- Increased XP for defeating one-star and three-star Raids, including one-star and three-star Shadow Raids
Research
Season of World of Wonders Research Breakthrough
- From March 1, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. PDT (GMT -7) to June 1, 2024, at 1:00 p.m.
PDT (GMT -7) - Complete Field Research tasks during the whole season to earn an encounter from a pool of Pokémon, including Hisuian Sneasel, Furfrou, Goomy, Sandygast, Jangmo-o and Dubwool.
Season of World of Wonders Field Research Tasks
Starting this Season, Field Research tasks that previously rotated on a monthly basis will now rotate Seasonally. Field Research tasks that award an encounter with Spinda will still rotate monthly. For a full list of the season field research tasks check out our list here.
