- Spooky Season draws to a close with Part Two of Halloween brings with it the shiny release for the Tricky Fox Pokémon, Zorua, along with new costumes for Pikachu and Gengar.
- Team GO Rocket are blasting off again, with a host of new Shadow Pokémon! Don’t forget to TM Frustration away from your Shadow Pokémon too.
- Celebrate Día de Muertos with Cubone and Marowak wearing cempasúchil crowns.
- Community Day brings with it the release of Paldean Wooper and their adorable evolution Clodsire, as well as featuring the OG Wooper and mud boi Quagsire.
- For Halloween fans who purchased the Ticket of Treats, which gives Timed Research every Thursday during October, remember to complete and claim by 11:59PM local time 31st October!
- For those aiming for mastery, the race is on to complete the Timed Investigation and earn the unrivaled Master Ball. But that’s not all – battle enthusiasts can gear up for the GO Battle League Season 16, while raiders prepare for epic confrontations with the elusive Darkrai. Genesect with the Douse Drive will then splash into raids!
- And keep your eyes peeled for the elusive Shiny Shadow Moltres! There’s a plethora of adventures waiting, so trainers, gear up and set out!
Halloween Event 2023 Part Two
October 26, 2023 at 10:00am to October 31, 2023 8:00pm local time is Part Two of the Halloween Event! New costume Pikachu and Gengar will feature, along with the release of Shiny Zorua!
Team GO Rocket Takeover
From October 26, 2023 at 10:00am to October 31, 2023 8:00pm local time Team GO Rocket are back, armed with new Shadow Pokémon! Save Shadow Regigigas from Giovanni, and battle Shadow Lugia in raids, which can be shiny for the first time.
Día de Muertos Event
Día de Muertos is a holiday observed in Mexico and other parts of the Americas that celebrates the lives and the memory of friends and family who have moved on to another world. Celebrate with Cubone and Marowak wearing cempasúchil crowns, from November 1, 2023 10:00AM until November 2, 2023 08:00PM.
Wooper and Paldean Wooper Community Day
Sunday, November 5, 2023 from 2:00pm to 5:00pm local time is Wooper and Paldean Wooper Community Day! Paldean Wooper will make their debut, and both forms of Wooper can be shiny. Quagsire gains access to the new exclusive Community Day move, Aqua Tail, will be available by evolving Wooper during the event or up to two hours afterward. Clodsire (Paldean Wooper’s evolution) will have the exclusive Community Day move, Megahorn.
City Safari Zone: Mexico City, Mexico
From Saturday, November 4, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. CST to Sunday, November 5, 2023 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. CST the City Safari Mexico City takes place!
Ticket of Treats
Starting in October, trainers would be able to purchase the brand new ‘Ticket of Treats’ which grants spooky Halloween themed Timed Research throughout the whole month! With the ticket, every Thursday a new Timed Research will be unlocked, giving you until the end of October to complete them all. Each research comes with Premium Items, event-themed encounters, and more!
The ticket will be available to purchase until October 29, 2023 11:59pm local time, and must be completed and claimed by October 31, 2023, 11:59pm local time.
Adventures Abound Special Research
Choose your Paldean partner Pokémon! A new Special Research story with branching paths will be available to Trainers! Throughout Pokémon GO: Adventures Abound, you’ll be able to adventure together and bond with your chosen partner Pokémon.
You can claim this Special Research at no cost from Tuesday, September 5, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. to Friday, December 1, 2023, at 9:59 a.m. local time.
Timed Investigation: Master Ball
Embark on the path to mastery, Trainers. A Timed Investigation is a lengthy series of challenges available during a set period of time. Seeing this journey through will offer some of the rarest rewards you can obtain in Pokémon GO.
Timed Investigation: Master Ball will be available throughout Pokémon GO: Adventures Abound. Complete the Timed Investigation by Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at 8:00 p.m. local time to receive the very best Poké Ball with the ultimate level of performance—the Master Ball.
When used, it will catch any Pokémon you encounter in Pokémon GO without fail, whether it be in the wild, through Lure Modules, after Raid Battles, or while using your Daily Adventure Incense.
- For Trainers who are unable to complete Timed Investigation: Master Ball by November 21, 2023, a Special Research ticket that awards a Master Ball will be available to purchase.
GO Battle League Season 16
GO Battle League: Adventures Abound will start on Friday, September 1, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. PT.
The following will occur at the beginning of the Season:
- End-of-Season rewards will be available on the battle screen.
- Your GO Battle League rank will be reset.
- Rank-up requirements will remain the same as the prior
Season.

Season of Adventures Abound Research Breakthrough

PDT (GMT -7) - Complete Field Research tasks during the whole season to earn an encounter from a pool of Pokémon, including Sableye, Galarian Farfetch’d, Larvitar, Furfrou, Bagon and Goomy.
