Coming this week in Pokémon GO, commencing 7th August we have Pokémon Worlds, the end of the Glittering Garden event and more!

Glittering Garden Event

Petilil

From Saturday, August 5, 2023 at 10:00 PM local time to Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at 8:00 PM local time, celebrate the release of shiny Petilil at GO Fest Osaka and London with the Glittering Garden event!


2023 Pokémon World Championships

From August 11, 2023, at 10:00 am to August 15, 2023, at 8:00 pm local time Pokemon Worlds 2023 takes place in Yokohama, Japan.


Froakie Community Day

August Community Day takes place from August 13, 2023, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm local time, and the featured Pokémon is Froakie! Greninja will be able to learn the exclusive moves Hydro Cannon, and Water Shuriken.


Pokémon GO World Championships GO Battle Day Event

From Friday, August 11, 2023, to Tuesday, August 15, 2023

Celebrate the World Championship finals with a battle-focused event! Stay tuned for more details as we get closer to this event.

GO Battle League Season 15

GO Battle League: Hidden Gems will start on Thursday, June 1, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. PT.

The following will occur at the beginning of the Season.

  • End-of-Season rewards will be available on the battle screen.
  • Your GO Battle League rank will be reset.
  • Rank-up requirements will remain the same as the prior Season.

From August 4 to August 16 Mega Gyarados will appear in Mega Raids.

From August 4 to August 16 Cresselia will appear in five-star raids. It can be shiny.

The following bonuses are specific to Season 11: Hidden Gems.

Field Research

Season of Hidden Gems Research Breakthrough

  • From June 1, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. PDT (GMT -7) to September 1, 2023, at 1:00 p.m.
    PDT (GMT -7)
  • Complete Field Research tasks during the whole season to earn an encounter from a pool of Pokémon, including Sableye, Beldum, Audino, Furfrou, Noibat and Goomy.

Season of Hidden Gems Field Research Tasks

Starting this Season, Field Research tasks that previously rotated on a monthly basis will now rotate Seasonally. Field Research tasks that award an encounter with Spinda will still rotate monthly. For a full list of the season field research tasks check out our list here.
