The Pokémon GO Ultra Unlock: 10th Anniversary event runs from Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. to Monday, July 27, 2026 at 8:00 p.m. local time. The event also sees a variety of rotating daily bonuses!

Masterwork Research: Glimmers of Gratitude
For US$4.99 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency), you’ll be able to pick up a Masterwork Research story, Glimmers of Gratitude, which leads to an encounter with Shiny Shaymin. Ticket holders will gain access to the Masterwork Research story during the Ultra Unlock: 10th Anniversary Edition event.
To receive the Masterwork Research, you must open Pokémon GO at some point during the event. After you’ve received the Masterwork Research, you can complete it at any time. Masterwork Research is intended to be completed over a long period of time.
*Trainers who have already obtained the Masterwork Research story Glimmers of Gratitude will not be able to purchase it again.
GO Pass and GO Pass Deluxe
A GO Pass is a free, limited-time progression track available during a specified period. By collecting GO Points, you can increase your rank to earn rewards.
Trainers will automatically receive GO Pass: 10th Anniversary on Tuesday, July 21, at 10:00 a.m. local time. You can collect GO Points and rank up to get additional rewards through Monday, July 27, at 8:00 p.m. local time.
Additionally, from Saturday, July 25, at 12:00 a.m. to Monday, July 27, at 7:59 p.m. local time, there’s no daily limit for how many GO Points you can earn.
Rewards unlocked in the GO Pass will expire on Wednesday, July 29, at 7:59 p.m. local time, so be sure to claim your rewards before they’re gone.
