GO Wild Area 2025: Nagasaki takes place from November 7 to November 9 across Nagasaki, Japan. Event hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM daily. Ticket holders receive exclusive gameplay, spawns, raids, and bonuses. The featured Pokémon of this year’s GO Wild Area are Impidimp and it’s evolutions, Morgrem and Grimmsnarl, all of which debut with shiny unlocked! ✨
Plus, exceptionally powerful Pokémon known as mighty Pokémon are appearing in the wild—use GO Wild Area–exclusive GO Safari Balls to improve your odds of catching these rare Pokémon. Similar to last year, Ticket holders get exclusive Special Research, additional bonuses, and an increased chance of encountering Shiny Pokémon.
Impidimp, Morgrem and Grimmsnarl Debut 👿

This year, Impidimp, Morgrem and Grimmsnarl make their Pokémon GO debut in Nagasaki, and they can be shiny! After making its Pokémon GO debut during the Pokémon GO Wild Area 2025 event in Nagasaki, Japan, they will also feature during the global event.
How to get Impidimp, Morgrem and Grimsnarl
On your ticketed event day, Impidimp, the Wily Pokémon, will appear in the wild and hatch from 5 km Eggs! You will be able to use 25 Impidimp Candy to evolve Impidimp into Morgrem and 100 Impidimp Candy to evolve Morgrem into Grimmsnarl.
Rescue Shadow Darkrai and Shadow Cresselia ⚫️
They’re at it again! Team GO Rocket is venturing into the GO Wild Area this year, and they’ve brought Shadow Darkrai with them for the first time in Pokémon GO.
Shadow Darkrai and Shadow Cresselia will appear in Shadow Raids during event days. Plus, you can encounter Shiny Shadow Darkrai and Shiny Shadow Cresselia—if you’re lucky!

Ticket-holding Trainers who participate in both raids and Max Battles during Pokémon GO Wild Area: Nagasaki will have a chance of receiving a new Nagasaki themed Location Background when making a successful catch.

Mighty Pokémon are back for the Wild Area 2025! All Mighty Pokémon have some shared traits:
- Mighty Pokémon can be caught in the following level ranges Level 35 to 40 range if they are not weather boosted, Level 40 to 45 range if they are weather boosted!
- Mighty Pokémon have a high IV floor, with 13/13/13 minimum guaranteed IVs
- Mighty Pokémon always appear as fully evolved Pokémon and can be Shiny in their fully evolved form!
- More likely to be XL or XXL when caught, and are very aggressive during the catch encounter
- Mighty Pokémon are much more difficult to capture, it is recommended to use Golden Razz Berries, and a GO Safari Ball

Ticket-holding Trainers in Nagasaki can claim an exclusive Special Research story during their ticketed session! In this research, you’ll become an expert on Dark- and Fairy-type Pokémon to earn type-themed in-game medals.
Are you a Dark type trainer, or a Fairy type trainer? The path you choose with affect the bonuses you receive, so choose wisely. These bonuses will be available upon claiming your in-game medal, and will be active until Sunday November 16th 2025 at 6:00pm local time. Trainers who are attending the Nagasaki event will have chance to earn both type medals as part of their Special Research, with the bonuses lasting until the end of the global event.

Ticket holding trainers at the Nagasaki, Japan event can look forward to a a brand new Stamp Rally on their event ticket day! You’ll be able to explore real life locations in the city and discover landmarks to collect in-game stamps to complete the Stamp Rally.
What is a Stamp Rally?
A Pokémon GO Stamp Rally is an activity where Trainers visit specific PokéStops or Gyms to collect stamps by spinning the Photo Disc. As Trainers explore different locations to fill their Stamp Rally card, they can view their progress on the Scrapbook page and unlock rewards and Pokémon encounters along the way.

How to Participate
Each GO Stamp Rally has a unique theme, requiring Trainers to visit designated PokéStops to collect stamps. By checking your Map, you can view which locations are participating in a Rally.
- When you are near a participating PokéStop, a stamp icon will appear on the map.
- Once you approach the PokéStop, you will automatically receive a stamp sheet.
- Spin the Photo Disc where a stamp icon is displayed, and a circular stamp sheet will appear.
- Tap or press and hold the centre of the circle; the density of the ink will vary based on how long you press. Please Note: Stamps cannot be re-stamped or adjusted once placed.
- A stamp animation will play, indicating you have received the stamp.
- As you collect stamps, you’ll receive rewards such as items or encounters that may be themed to the Stamp Rally. You can track your collection progress on the Scrapbook page.

New Avatar Pose
Ticket-holding trainers who complete their Special Research in Nagasaki, will also receive a brand new avatar pose. The ball your avatar holds will reflect the ball you caught your Buddy Pokémon in!
Pokémon HOME Update

In the future Pokémon caught in Safari Balls in Pokémon GO will be able to be transferred to Pokémon HOME. The Safari Ball will display different in HOME to how it does in GO. Stay tuned for more information.
Wild Area Supply Balloons
Keep your eyes on the sky for the Wild Area Supply Balloon! A Supply Balloon that gives out Safari Balls (which are essential for catching Mighty Pokémon) will appear every hour for ticket-holding trainers. Supply Balloons will be available at both the Global, and Nagasaki events for ticket-holders.

Eggs, plus access to event Field Research, Timed Research, and special bonuses.
Restrictions for the Extra Day Add-ons apply. Trainers will only receive the ticketed event
