The 20 raid pass Ultra Box has left us; we will miss you 20 raid pass box! What follows after may leave players regretting that they did not grab one last box before they went away rather suddenly. These normal boxes are looking like they can be skipped, with the Adventure Box looking very useful for once. Without further ado, here is your Box Sale Analysis!
Box Sale Analysis
First glance, these boxes are a step down from the last boxes we had since the main focus of these boxes are raid passes. There is not much for extra items, only offering 5 Lucky Eggs, Super Incubators, and Star Pieces in the Ultra Box. We can assume most players who spend money on the game had splurged on the last round of boxes, but below is the analysis of this batch.
Keep in mind, as always, to give you a better idea of bulk buying, Lucky Eggs and Incense are priced at 63 coins apiece (their individual bulk price), and Star Pieces are priced at 50 apiece.
|Coins Saved Per Box||259||746||1585|
|Coins Saved from Incubators and Raid Passes||70||420||1020|
|% Saved from Incubators and Raid Passes||12.7%||35%||40.8%|
There is not much else to say. If you are in the market for raid passes, the Ultra Box is more profitable than buying each raid pass individually, so it would be in your best interest to pick up one of those (It is only 20 coins cheaper + other goodies). If you had your fill of the last boxes, these can be skipped.
For once, our eyes are on the Adventure Box with the upcoming Adventure Week 2019. This event will feature 10x XP from new Pokéstops spun, 4x buddy candy, as well as increased rock-type Pokémon in 2km eggs, including the latest shiny releases, Onix, Lileep, and Anorith. Last but not least, they are offering a hefty prize of 50k stardust and 15 rare candies for players with Adventure Sync who walk 50km in the week. Heavily focused on walking, the Adventure Box is a good match.
Capitalizing on the number of normal incubators was a good move on Niantic’s part. With a possible increase in 2km eggs, many players do not want to use their Super Incubators to hatch lower walking requirement eggs, but will happily use a normal incubator. If they do want to use supers, there are some of those in the box as well. The Lucky Eggs are also great for players who wish to capitalize on the new Pokéstop spin XP.
|Coins Saved Per Box||2335|
|Coins Saved from Incubators||1770|
|% Saved from Incubators||54.5%|
All in all, there’s a pretty good deal to be had if you want to load up on incubators for Adventure Week, not a bad idea to pick one up if you can spare the coins.
