The Día de Muertos event is once again coming back to Pokémon GO!
Día de Muertos is a holiday observed in Mexico and other parts of the Americas that celebrates the lives and memories of family and friends who have moved on from this world.
In ancient Aztec tradition, it was said that the spirits of our loved ones never go away but simply travel to a different world. Those that celebrate Día de Muertos get ready for the occasion by setting a table with the favourite dishes of their ancestors, covering the streets with petals of the cempazúchitl flower, and lighting candles and incense to enjoy a joyful celebration full of colours, flowers, and flavours.

Collection Challenge
Complete the Día de Muertos Collection Challenge by the end of the event to encounter an Alolan Marowak and receive a Poffin and an Incense! Catch the following Pokemon in order to complete this collection challenge:
Pokémon Debuts
During the event, new costumed Pokémon will appear, Duskull, Dusclops, and Dusknoir are all wearing Cempazúchitl Flower crowns!
You can evolve a Cempazúchitl Crown Duskull into Cempazúchitl Crown Dusclops with 25 Duskull Candies, and you can evolve a Cempazúchitl Crown Dusclops into Cempazúchitl Crown Dusknoir with 100 Dusclops Candies.
