Pokemon GO Community Days Dates for the rest of 2019

Posted in

Niantic has just shared the dates for October, November and December Community Days, alongside their Summer 2019 recap blog post:

  • October 12 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. local time
  • November 16 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. local time
  • December 14–15 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. local time both days

Community Day is back to the regular morning schedule, starting at 11:00 a.m. All of the dates are Saturdays, with December Community Day stretching throughout the whole weekend. Given its two day length, we’re expecting that it will be similar to last year’s December Community Day, when all previous CD Pokemon were featured once again.

Update on GO Fests

Niantic has shared their excitement and delight for the efforts they’ve put into real world events, especially GO Fest:

We wanted to make the summer of 2019 even better than summers of years past, so naturally we thought, “Let’s do more Pokémon GO Fests!” We were thrilled to be able to bring three immersive experiences to different regions of the world. It was a great pleasure to bring this experience to Chicago, USA; Dortmund, Germany; and Yokohama, Japan. We’d like to especially thank all our partners, the three destination cities who welcomed us, and everyone who was part of making this herculean effort possible.

Niantic Live 2020 is still on

Niantic’s “city nomination” project is still on and it’s possible to recommend your city for a future event:
