Safari Zone Seville proves that Pokémon GO is alive and well

Posted in

Finally. Finally! After two long years, we are back to normal, massive Pokémon GO events that take place out in the open. The first event to take place in this circuit of events is Pokémon GO Safari Zone Seville, which took place this weekend in Parque del Alamillo, Seville.

From May 13, 2022 to May 15, 2022, Alamillo Park was transformed into a Pokémon GO heaven, with Trainers being able to encounter Shiny Corphish for the first time in Pokémon GO, alongside a variety of rare spawns, and new Shiny Pokémon.

Seville Safari Zone was special in a way, as there was no global gameplay component available for this live event. No in-and-out gameplay, just raw, simple Pokémon GO in a park. Like the good ol’ days.

The gallery below shows a snapshot of the atmosphere at the event, and it’s probably the biggest reason we’re writing this in the first place. It’s amazing to see people out and about once again! Without further ado:

Although the pictures tell a far better story than words, we think it’s quite a spectacle to behold. The event featured all the regular Safari Zone perks (meet and greets, photo ops, battling it out with other Trainers), but the sheer amount of people, the crowds and the atmosphere makes us want to go outside and play.

The event was also attended by a large number of Pokémon GO influencers, including (but not limited to) Trainer Tips, Mystic 7, Couple of Gaming, and more. Throw them a like on YouTube if enjoy their content!
