Bug Catchers prepare yourself! The Pokémon GO’s Bug Out event is back Wednesday, March 26, at 10:00 a.m. to Sunday, March 30, 2025, at 8:00 p.m. local time. It brings with it the debut of Sizzlipede, increased shiny odds for Venipede and Wurmple, the return of Kleavor, and more!
Get cuddly and snuggly with the Fuzzy Buddy Research Day Saturday, March, 29, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time! Complete event themed field research to earn encounters with Pancham, Teddiursa, Cubchoo and Stufful, the cutest fuzzy Pokémon around.
On Saturday, March 29, and Sunday, March 30, 2025 City Safari events take place in Mumbai, Santiago, Singapore and Milan. Enjoy the debut of Mudbray, an increased chance of encountering shiny Pokémon, and explore a new city!
On Tuesday, March 25th, from 6 PM to 7 PM local time, Cutiefly will be the featured Pokémon for Spotlight Hour, along with 2× XP for catching Pokémon!

Five-Star Raids
From March 22nd to March 31st, Heatran will be featured in five-star raids.

Shadow Raids
One-star and three-star Shadow Raids will be available daily, while five-star Shadow Raids will take place on Saturdays and Sundays unless otherwise noted. Also, Shadow Regice will swoop into five-star Shadow Raids during Dual Destiny! You may even encounter a Shiny Shadow Regice—if you’re lucky!

Starting March 1, 2025, Trainers will be able to purchase the brand new Power Up Ticket for March in the latest Season of Pokémon GO, Season of Might and Mastery.
This ticket will help Trainers to get the most out of Season of Might and Mastery by granting bonuses such as one additional Candy XL awarded to Trainers level 31 and up for completing Raid Battles and Max Battles!
For US$5.00 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency), you’ll be able to access bonuses and Timed Research opportunities throughout March. The Power Up Ticket: March will only be available in the in-game shop until March 11, 2025, at 8:00 p.m. local time.

GO Battle League: Might and Mastery begins Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. PST (GMT −8).
The following will occur at the beginning of the Season:
- End-of-Season rewards will be available on the Battle screen.
- Your GO Battle League rank will be reset.
- Rank-up requirements will remain the same as the prior Season.

The following bonuses are specific to Might and Mastery:
- Increased friendship bonus damage dealt by Pokémon in raids.
- Trainers level 31 and above will receive one guaranteed Rare Candy XL when defeating a five-star Raid Boss during a Raid Hour.
- Trainers level 31 and above will receive one guaranteed Candy XL when trading Pokémon.
- Increased Stardust for the first catch of the day.

A note on Seasonal Field Research tasks
During the Season of Might and Mastery, most Field Research tasks will be available during the entire Season, instead of changing every month. Field Research tasks that award an encounter with Spinda will still rotate monthly. Field Research available during in-game events will replace some of these Field Research tasks.
