This week looks wild in Pokémon GO! Dive into an action-packed week in Pokémon GO starting July 29th. The Season of Shared Skies is underway, shiny Togedemaru is still here with the GO Fest Ultra Unlocks, Adventure week returns and more!
Highlights:
- Shiny Togedemaru debuts in Ultra Unlock 2: Strength of Steel
- Mega Rayquaza Elite Raid Makeup Day Event!
- Adventure Week is back, with a shiny boost for some Pokémon!
- Battle enthusiasts can gear up for the GO Battle League Season 19, while raiders prepare for epic confrontations with Incarnate Forme Tornadus, and Mega Aggron in Mega Raids!
- And keep your eyes peeled for the elusive Shiny Shadow Suicune! There’s a plethora of adventures waiting, so trainers, gear up and set out!

Togedemaru
From Thursday, July 25, at 10:00 a.m. to Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at 8:00 p.m. local time is Ultra Unlock Part Two: Strength of Steel, with Togedemaru making their shiny debut!

Mega Rayquaza
Due to issues affecting Elite Raids featuring Mega Rayquaza, a special global makeup event will be held for all Trainers. There will be two raid times on Saturday, August 3, at the following times:
- Saturday, August 3, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. local time
- Saturday, August 3, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. local time

Adventure Week is back, and with a smashing shiny boost to certain Pokémon! Enjoy special 7km eggs, extra XP for hatching and more starting Friday, August 2, at 10:00 a.m. local time until Monday, August 12, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. local time.

During each month of Pokémon GO: Shared Skies, Trainers will receive free monthly Timed Research! Be sure to regularly check the in-game Events tab for details. Check out full details of the Research here.

GO Battle League: Shared Skies will start on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. PST (GMT −8).
The following will occur at the beginning of the Season.
- End-of-Season rewards will be available on the battle screen.
- Your GO Battle League rank will be reset.
- Rank-up requirements will remain the same as the prior Season.

Togedemaru
Tuesday July 30th, 6 pm till 7 pm local time we have Togedemaru as the featured Pokémon for spotlight hour, along with 2x Stardust for catching Pokémon!

Incarnate Tornadus
Wednesday July 31st 6pm till 7pm local time Incarnate Forme Tornadus will appear in five-star raids.

From July 23 – August 3 Mega Aggron will appear in Mega Raids.
Mega Aerodactyl
From August 3 – August 12 Mega Aerodactyl will appear in Mega Raids.
Five-Star Raids
Incarnate Tornadus
From July 23 – August 3 Incarnate Forme Tornadus will appear in Mega Raids.
Moltres
From August 3 – August 12 Moltres will appear in five-star Raids.
Shadow Raids
Shadow Suicune
One-star and three-star Shadow Raids will be available daily, while five-star Shadow Raids will take place on Saturdays and Sundays unless otherwise noted. Also, Shadow Suicune will swoop into five-star Shadow Raids during Shared Skies!
You may even encounter a Shiny Shadow Suicune—if you’re lucky!
The following bonuses are specific to Shared Skies:
- One additional Special Trade per day.
- Trainers level 31 and above will have a higher chance to receive Candy XL from exploring with their buddy.
- Increased XP for the first catch of the day.
- From June 1, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. PDT (GMT -7) to September 3, 2024, at 1:00 p.m.
PDT (GMT -7) - Complete Field Research tasks during the whole season to earn an encounter from a pool of Pokémon, including Hisuian Growlithe, Furfrou, Audino, Larvitar, Jangmo-o and Axew.
Season of Shared Skies Field Research Tasks
Field Research tasks that previously rotated on a monthly basis will now rotate Seasonally. Field Research tasks that award an encounter with Spinda will still rotate monthly. For a full list of the season field research tasks check out our list here.
