Coming this week in Pokémon GO, commencing 3rd April we have the Spring into Spring event, Regieleki in Elite Raids, and more! It is also important to note that from 6th April we have the changes to remote raids going live in game.
Spring into Spring Event

Elite Raid
Regieleki

On April 9, 2023 at 11:00am, 2pm and 5pm local time Regieleki will feature in Elite Raids for the first time!
Elite Raids are a new type of raid focused on in-person play, and they will appear at selected EX Gyms worldwide. Elite Raids are designed to be challenging, a bit over Tier 5 difficulty, and they can only be completed in-person.
Elite Raid Eggs take 24 hours to hatch, and Trainers will have only 30 minutes to complete them once the Raid Egg has hatched. Since these Raids can only be completed in-person, Trainers are encouraged to organise well ahead of time and not be late for the spawn.
GO Battle League Season 14
GO Battle League: Rising Heroes will start on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. PT.
The following will occur at the beginning of the Season.
- End-of-Season rewards will be available on the battle screen.
- Your GO Battle League rank will be reset.
- Rank-up requirements will remain the same as the prior Season.

Spotlight Hour
Tuesday April 4th 6pm till 7pm local time we have Exeggcute as the featured Pokémon for spotlight hour, along with a 2× candy for catching Pokémon.

Wednesday April 5th 6pm till 7pm local time Lugia will be appearing in raids for raid hour.
Mega Raids
Alakazam (Mega)
From March 28 to April 4 Mega Alakazam will appear in Mega Raids.
Lopunny (Mega)
From April 4 to April 11 Mega Lopunny will appear in Mega Raids.
Five Star Raids
Lugia
From March 28 to April 10 Lugia will appear in five-star raids.
April 2023 Research Breakthrough
Completing Field Research tasks leads to Research Breakthroughs, which now reward Trainers with different items in addition to encounters with a variety of Pokémon. Check out the Research Breakthrough rewards you can look forward to this Season!
- From March 1, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. PDT (GMT -7) to June 1, 2023, at 1:00 p.m.
PDT (GMT -7) - Complete Field Research tasks during the whole season to earn an encounter from a pool of Pokémon, including Parasect, Pinsir, Snorlax, Furfrou, Gible and Goomy.
