2025 is here, and so is a host of new events during the brand new season of Dual Destiny! Kick off the second week of 2025 with Fidough Fetch, Mega Gallade Raid Day, and the return of Fashion Week!

Fidough Fetch
Fidough Fetch brings a series of global challenges to Pokémon GO from Friday, January 3, at 3:00 p.m. PST. Complete them to unlock stardust and XP bonuses, and the debut of Fidough!
Fashion Week
Fashion Week is back for 2025 with a new costume Mincinno from Friday, January 10, at 10:00 a.m. to Sunday, January 19, 2025, at 8:00 p.m. local time. Costume Pokémon and Furfrou star!
Mega Gallade Raid Day
Saturday January 11th 2-5pm is Mega Gallade Raid Day! Enjoy increased shiny chances, increased remote raid allowance and more.
Dual Destiny Season Special Research
A season long free special research will be available to claim from Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. to Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at 9:59 a.m. local time.
New parts of the Special Research will unlock over the course of the Season, so make sure to keep an eye on your Research tab!
Dual Destiny: Eggs-pedition Access
Starting December 3, 2024, Trainers will be able to purchase Eggs-pedition Access for the latest Season of Pokémon GO, Dual Destiny. This ticket will help trainers make the most out of Dual Destiny by granting an Incubator for the first PokéStop or Gym spin of the day.
GO Battle League Season 21
GO Battle League: Dual Destiny will commence on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. PST (GMT −8).
The following will occur at the beginning of the Season:
- End-of-Season rewards will be available on the Battle screen.
- Your GO Battle League rank will be reset.
- Rank-up requirements will remain the same as the prior Season.

Season of Dual Destiny Field Research Tasks
Field Research tasks that previously rotated on a monthly basis will now rotate Seasonally. Field Research tasks that award an encounter with Spinda will still rotate monthly. For a full list of the season field research tasks check out our list here.
