Dynamax Ho-Oh Max Battle Weekend
Dynamax Ho-Oh Max Battle Day takes place from Saturday, January 31, at 6:00 a.m. to Sunday, February 1, 2026, at 9:00 p.m. local time
During the event, all Power Spots will host Dynamax Battles, and Power Spots will refresh more frequently. If you’re lucky, you may encounter a Shiny Ho-Oh capable of Dynamaxing.
Vulpix and Alolan Vulpix Community Day
The second Community Day of 2026 stars Vulpix and Alolan Vulpix, the Fox Pokémon! Join the event on Sunday, February 1st, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time to enjoy 3× Catch XP, increased Vulpix and Alolan Vulpix spawns, and a chance to encounter Shiny Vulpix and Alolan Vulpix.
- Evolve Vulpix during the event—or up to four hours afterwards—to obtain Ninetales with the exclusive Charged Attack Energy Ball.
- Evolve Alolan Vulpix during the event—or up to four hours afterwards—to obtain Alolan Ninetales with the exclusive Charged Attack Chilling Water.

GO Pass and GO Pass Deluxe
Pokémon GO’s January 2026 GO Pass and GO Pass Deluxe feature exclusive rewards, including an encounter with Dialga, XP and Stardust bonuses, and the return of the Lucky Trinket! Trainers will automatically receive GO Pass: January on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at 10:00 a.m
