The XP Celebration event runs from August 25 (1:00 p.m.) – October 14 (11:59 p.m.) local time and gives 2x Catch XP from for Nice, Great, and Excellent Throws, +3,000 XP from winnings Raids, +3,000 XP from winning Max Battles.
Pokémon GO Kanto Celebration
The Pokémon GO Kanto Celebration is a global event running from September 2 to September 7, 2025. This event brings Kanto regional Pokémon worldwide, and special research to encounter Dynamax Legendary Birds! On top of that, enjoy special raids and spawns, and the ability to evolve certain Pokémon to obtain their special moves.
Mega Sharpedo Raid Day
Mega Sharpedo debuts in Pokémon GO during a special Raid Day event on Sunday, September 7th, 2025. Trainers can look forward to an increased chance to encounter shiny Sharpedo, up to five additional free Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs, and a temporarily increased Remote Raid Pass limit.
Pokémon Concierge Celebration
Pokémon Concierge Celebration celebrates the launch of new episodes of Pokémon Concierge in September, Pokémon GO players can take part in a fun event from September 9, 2025, to September 14, 2025.
This event features the debut of a costumed Psyduck with a swim ring, along with some valuable raid Pokémon!
Flabébé Community Day
Pokémon GO’s September 2025 Community Day features Flabébé, the Single Bloom Pokémon! Flabébé Community Day takes place on Sunday, September 14, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time.
Evolving Florges during the event will result in Florges knowing the exclusive charge attack Chilling Water.
Psychic Spectacular: Taken Over
Psychic Spectacular: Taken Over is the latest Team GO Rocket Takeover event that runs from Tuesday, September 16, at 10:00 a.m. to Sunday, September 21, 2025, at 8:00 p.m. local time. During that time, Trainers will have the opportunity to remove Frustration, save Shadow Incarnate Forme Tornadus, hunt for shiny Indeedee as it makes its debut in Pokémon GO, and face Rocket Grunts and Rocket Leaders who are using new Shadow Pokémon!
Shadow Groudon Raid Weekend
Shadow Groudon features in Pokémon GO during a special Shadow Raid Day event on Saturday, September 20, 2025, and Sunday, September 21, 2025. Trainers can look forward to Shadow Groudon in Shadow Raids for the first time, with the potential to be shiny, and one extra free raid pass per day during event hours.
Completely Normal Event
The Completely Normal event runs from September 23, 2025, to September 27, 2025, and features the debut of the evolution of Dunsparce, Dudunsparce, along with changes to the Pokémon Ditto can be disguised as!
Mega Camerupt Raid Day
Mega Camerupt debuts in Pokémon GO during a special Raid Day event on Sunday, September 28th, 2025. Trainers can look forward to an increased chance to encounter shiny Camerupt, up to five additional free Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs, and a temporarily increased Remote Raid Pass limit.
Steel Skyline Event
The Steel Skyline event runs from September 30, 2025, to October 7, 2025, and features the debut of Duraludon, and it can be shiny! Plus Steel type Pokémon feature as wild spawns and more.
Research Breakthrough
Complete Field Research to unlock Research Breakthrough encounters with one of the following Pokémon. These Pokémon will appear as Research Breakthrough Rewards from September 2, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. to December 2, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. local time
