Road To Kalos is a week long rewind of previous GO Tour events that takes place before Pokémon GO Tour: Kalos – Global begins on February 28, 2026. The event celebrates Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, and Unova regions, with Legendary Pokémon, previously featured at each GO Tour event, making an reappearance… Could this be the work of the Mythical Pokémon Hoopa?
The following bonuses are active during the Road to Kalos event:
- Different Five-Star Raids will appear each day of the event.
- Pokémon caught from 1-Star and 5-Star Raids may have a Special Background.
- Zygarde Cells can appear at the end of up to 5 Routes per day
- Increased chance of receiving 2km Eggs
- 1/2 Egg Hatch Distance
- Certain event-themed Pokémon can learn a featured attack
- Shadow Pokémon can forget Frustration with a Charged TM
- The Remote Raid Pass limit will be increased to 30 from Monday, February 23 to Friday, February 27, 2026. There will be no limit on Remote Raids from Saturday, February 28, to Sunday, March 1, 2026.
You may encounter different event-themed Pokémon in the wild on each day, including the first partner Pokémon from Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, and Unova!

You may encounter Pokémon originally discovered in the Kanto region.
Tuesday, February 24: Johto
You may encounter Pokémon originally discovered in the Johto region.
Wednesday, February 25: Hoenn
You may encounter Pokémon originally discovered in the Hoenn region.
Thursday, February 26: Sinnoh
You may encounter Pokémon originally discovered in the Sinnoh region.
Friday, February 27: Unova
You may encounter Pokémon originally discovered in the Unova region.

The following Pokémon will appear in raids. Pokémon appearing in five-star raids will also be featured in a Raid Hour from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time for one day each on the following schedule.

- Origin Forme Dialga encountered from raids will have a chance to know the Charged Attack Roar of Time.

- Reshiram encountered from raids will know the Charged Attack Fusion Flare.
- Zekrom encountered from raids will know the Charged Attack Fusion Bolt.
- Kyurem encountered from raids will have a chance to know the Charged Attack Glaciate.

During the Road to Kalos event, defeating Raid Bosses gives you a chance to earn new Special Backgrounds when you successfully catch them. These souvenir backgrounds appear on the Pokémon’s summary page and change daily throughout the event.

- Pikachu wearing Red’s hat and Pikachu wearing Leaf’s hat can have a background inspired by Team Mystic, Team Instinct, or Team Valor.

Region-themed Timed Research will be available daily starting at 5:00 a.m. local time. Complete tasks to earn Candy, TMs, other items, and encounters with costumed Pikachu, with new Timed Research released each day. If you’re lucky, you may encounter a Shiny one!
Note: Pokémon from Timed Research won’t have Special Backgrounds. Timed Research expires daily at 10:00 p.m. local time.

The GO Pass is a free, limited-time progression track where you earn rewards by collecting GO Points.
All Trainers will receive GO Pass: Road to Kalos for free on Monday, February 23, at 10:00 a.m. local time. You can earn GO Points and rank up through Sunday, March 1, at 6:00 p.m. local time.
From February 23–27, GO Points are capped daily to give you a head start. On February 28 and March 1, there’s no GO Point limit.
Trainers can upgrade to GO Pass Deluxe: Road to Kalos for US$14.99, or GO Pass Deluxe + 10 Ranks for US$19.99, instantly reaching Rank 11. Deluxe includes all free GO Pass rewards and can be upgraded at any time.
