Get ready for the debut of Dynamax Entei in a special Max Battle Weekend, the sweet and sour arrival of Applin during the Sweet Discoveries event, hunt for shiny Vanillite during Community Day, and a fresh wave of shiny opportunities across raids, wild encounters, and research.
With Mega Mawile and Cresselia in raids, evolving bonuses, Spotlight and Raid Hours, and GO Battle League action, there’s something for every Trainer to dive into!

The Sweet Discoveries event brings with it the debut of Applin, increased shiny odds for Skwovet, Shiny Delibird and Shiny Cherubi, the introduction of apples on the map, a new berry bonus for catching Pokémon, and more!

Pokémon GO’s April 2025 Community Day features Vanillite, the Fresh Snow Pokémon! Vanillite Community Day takes place on Saturday, April 27, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time.
Spotlight Hour
On Tuesday, April 22nd, from 6 PM to 7 PM local time, Morelull will be the featured Pokémon for Spotlight Hour, along with 2× Stardust for catching Pokémon!

Shadow Raids
One-star and three-star Shadow Raids will be available daily, while five-star Shadow Raids will take place on Saturdays and Sundays unless otherwise noted. Also, Shadow Registeel will swoop into five-star Shadow Raids during Might & Mastery! You may even encounter a Shiny Shadow Registeel—if you’re lucky!

On Monday, April 21st, from 6 PM to 7 PM local time, Dynamax Sobble will appear in Max Battles.

Available to claim from Wednesday, March 5, at 10:00 a.m. to Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at 9:59 a.m. local time, you’ll encounter Dynamax Kubfu and more with this Season’s Special Research!
New parts of the Special Research will unlock over the course of the Season, so make sure to keep an eye on your research tab.
Might and Mastery Power Up Ticket
Starting April 1, 2025, Trainers will be able to purchase the brand new Power Up Ticket for April in the latest Season of Pokémon GO, Season of Might and Mastery.
This ticket will help Trainers to get the most out of Season of Might and Mastery by granting bonuses such as one additional Candy XL awarded to Trainers level 31 and up for completing Raid Battles and Max Battles!
For US$4.99 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency), you’ll be able to access bonuses and Timed Research opportunities throughout March. The Power Up Ticket: April will only be available in the in-game shop until March 11, 2025, at 8:00 p.m. local time.
GO Battle League Season 22
GO Battle League: Might and Mastery begins Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. PST (GMT −8).
The following will occur at the beginning of the Season:
- End-of-Season rewards will be available on the Battle screen.
- Your GO Battle League rank will be reset.
- Rank-up requirements will remain the same as the prior Season.

A note on Seasonal Field Research tasks
During the Season of Might and Mastery, most Field Research tasks will be available during the entire Season, instead of changing every month. Field Research tasks that award an encounter with Spinda will still rotate monthly. Field Research available during in-game events will replace some of these Field Research tasks.
