Coming this week in Pokémon GO, commencing 28th November we have the end of the Season of Light, and the start of a whole new season! We don’t yet have any information for the new season and December, but hopefully we will soon.
Astral Eclipse Event

The Astral Eclipse event takes place from November 23, 2022, 10am local time, to November 28, 2022, 8pm local time
Solgaleo, the Sunne Pokémon, and Lunala, the Moone Pokémon, will make their debut during the Astral Eclipse event.
New chapters of the special research story ‘A Cosmic Companion’ will become available to all trainers. New mysteries are ahead to explore with Rhi, Professor Willow and Cosmoem.
GO Battle League Season 12

GO Battle League: Season of Light will start on Thursday, September 1, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. PDT (GMT -7)

End-of-Season rewards will be available on the battle screen.

Your GO Battle League rank will be reset.

Spotlight Hour
Tuesday 2th November 6pm till 7pm local time we have Hoothoot as the featured Pokémon for spotlight hour, along with a 2× XP for evolving Pokémon.

Wednesday 30th November 6pm till 7pm local time Nihilego will be appearing in raids for raid hour.
November 2022 Research Breakthrough
From November 1, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. PDT (GMT -7) to December 1, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. PST (GMT -8) Starmie will be featured in the research breakthrough box, and you will also be rewarded with a Star Piece.
Mega Raids
From November 23 to December 1, 2022 Mega Houndoom will be appearing in Mega Raids.
Five Star Raids
From November 23 to December 1, 2022, Nihilego will be appearing in Five-Star Raids.

Season of Light Special Research is available to claim from Thursday, September 1, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. to Thursday, December 1, 2022, at 9:59 a.m. local time. New parts of the Special Research will unlock over the course of the Season, so be sure to follow along!
Save Shadow Mewtwo!
With the Team GO Rocket takeover, Giovanni is armed with a Shadow Mewtwo! Complete Special Research to get a Super Rocket Radar to battle and defeat Giovanni, and save Shadow Mewtwo from his clutches. The special research story will be available to claim until the end of the Season of Light on December 1, 2022 10:00am local time.
