Arrokuda and Cramorant make their Pokémon GO debuts during the Ultra Unlock: Water Festival 2026 event! Running from Tuesday, August 18, at 10:00 a.m. to Monday, August 24, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. local time, the event features a new GO Pass, boosted Shiny rates for select Pokémon, escalating catch bonuses, and more.
Water Festival also includes an Ultra Unlock bonus earned by Trainers during Pokémon GO Fest 2026: Global.

The following bonuses are active during the Pokémon GO Ultra Unlock: Water Festival 2026 event:
- Rainy Lure Modules will attract Arrokuda.
- Increased chance to encounter Shiny Ducklett and Shiny Dewpider.
- 2× XP for catching Pokémon.
- 3× Stardust for catching Pokémon
These bonuses will be boosted from August 20 to August 24 as part of the Ultra Unlock boost that was unlocked during GO Fest 2026 Global (all times are local times):

Cramorant’s Form Mechanics
In Trainer Battles, Cramorant changes into its Gorging or Gulping Form after using Surf
or Dive
, depending on its remaining HP:
- After using Surf or Dive at low HP, Cramorant will change to Gorging Form. When hit with a Charged Attack it spits out its prey at the opponent, reducing its opponent’s Attack.
- After using Surf or Dive at high HP, Cramorant will change to Gorging Form. When hit with a Charged Attack it spits out its prey at the opponent, reducing its opponent’s Defense.
How to get Cramorant?
- Cramorant will make its Pokémon GO debut in Eggs, the GO Pass, and GO Battle League reward encounters.
- Cramorant will appear in both GO Battle League reward tracks starting at Rank 16. It will appear more frequently in the premium track.

From Tuesday, August 18, at 10:00 a.m. to Monday, August 24, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. local time, the GO Pass and GO Pass Deluxe for Water Festival will be available in Pokémon GO. Trainers will automatically receive GO Pass: Water Festival once the event starts in their respective region.
Rewards unlocked in the GO Pass will expire on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. local time,, so be sure to claim your rewards before they’re gone.
