GO Wild Area 2025: Global takes place on November 15 and November 16 wherever you are in the world. The event runs from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM on both days. The featured Pokémon of this year’s GO Wild Area are Impidimp and it’s evolutions, Morgrem and Grimmsnarl, all of which debut with shiny unlocked!✨
Plus, exceptionally powerful Pokémon known as mighty Pokémon are appearing in the wild—use GO Wild Area–exclusive GO Safari Balls to improve your odds of catching these rare Pokémon. Similar to last year, Ticket holders get exclusive Special Research, additional bonuses, and an increased chance of encountering Shiny Pokémon.

Impidimp, Morgrem and Grimmsnarl debut at Wild Area 2025 👿
This year, Impidimp, Morgrem and Grimmsnarl make their Pokémon GO debut, and they can be shiny! After making its Pokémon GO debut during the Pokémon GO Wild Area 2025 event in Nagasaki, Japan, they will also feature during the global event.
How to get Impidimp, Morgrem and Grimsnarl
On your ticketed event day, Impidimp, the Wily Pokémon, will appear in the wild and hatch from 5 km Eggs! You will be able to use 25 Impidimp Candy to evolve Impidimp into Morgrem and 100 Impidimp Candy to evolve Morgrem into Grimmsnarl.
Rescue Shadow Darkrai and Shadow Cresselia during GO Wild Area 2025: Global ⚫️
They’re at it again! Team GO Rocket is venturing into the GO Wild Area this year, and they’ve brought Shadow Darkrai with them for the first time in Pokémon GO.
Shadow Darkrai and Shadow Cresselia will appear in Shadow Raids during event days. Plus, you can encounter Shiny Shadow Darkrai and Shiny Shadow Cresselia—if you’re lucky!

For the first time in Pokémon GO, you’ll be able to encounter Shiny Impidimp and Shiny Hattena in the wild – if you are lucky! Two Habitats will be available at Wild Area 2025 Global: Lurking Dark Hour and Fanciful Fairy Hour. Lurking Dark Hour will run first, followed by Fanciful Fairy Hour.

Mighty Pokémon are back for the Wild Area 2025: Global! Different Mighty Pokémon will appear in the wild on Saturday (November 15) and Sunday (November 16). Mighty Pokémon are stronger versions of Pokémon that you encounter in the wild. They are encountered at a higher level with better IVs, and you need Safari Balls to catch them.
- Mighty Pokémon can be caught in the following level ranges Level 35 to 40 range if they are not weather boosted, Level 40 to 45 range if they are weather boosted!
- Mighty Pokémon have a high IV floor, with 13/13/13 minimum guaranteed IVs
- Mighty Pokémon always appear as fully evolved Pokémon and can be Shiny in their fully evolved form!
- More likely to be XL or XXL when caught, and are very aggressive during the catch encounter
- Mighty Pokémon are much more difficult to capture, it is recommended to use Golden Razz Berries, and a GO Safari Ball
For all Trainers, the following mighty Pokémon will be attracted to Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense) during both event days.

The path you pick will determine certain rewards and bonuses, so choose carefully! This Special Research will be available beginning on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. local time.
Are you a Dark type trainer, or a Fairy type trainer? The path you choose with affect the bonuses you receive, so choose wisely. These bonuses will be active upon claiming your type-themed in-game medal, and they will expire at the end of Pokémon GO Wild Area: Global on Sunday, November 16, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. local time.

Trainers who choose the Dark-type path will receive the following bonuses upon earning the Dark Detective medal:

Wild Area Supply Balloons
Keep your eyes on the sky for the Wild Area Supply Balloon! A Supply Balloon that gives out 15x Safari Balls (which are essential for catching Mighty Pokémon) will appear every hour for ticket-holding Trainers. Supply Balloons will be available at both the Global, and Nagasaki events for ticket-holders.
Routes
Trainers who explore Routes during Pokémon GO Wild Area: Global will encounter Pokémon
more frequently and earn additional Buddy Candy.
Pokémon HOME Updates
In the future Pokémon caught in Safari Balls in Pokémon GO will be able to be transferred to Pokémon HOME. The Safari Ball will display different in HOME to how it does in GO. Stay tuned for more information.
The Flower Crown
Trainers who purchase their Pokémon GO Wild Area: Global ticket on the Pokémon GO Web Store will receive a special avatar item—the Flower Crown! You can purchase your ticket on the web store until the last day of the event to receive this avatar item.
GO Pass Avatar Items
All trainers can unlock the Wild Area 2025 Purple Tee as a reward in the free GO Pass: Into the Wild.
Trainers who unlock the GO Pass: Into the Wild Deluxe can unlock the Grimmsnarl hairstyle as a reward.
Trainers will automatically receive GO Pass: Into the Wild at no cost on Monday, November 10, at 10:00 a.m. local time. You can collect GO Points and rank up to get additional rewards through Sunday, November 16, at 6:00 p.m. local time.
From Monday, November 10, to Friday, November 14, you can collect GO Points up to a daily cap during the Into the Wild event to get a head start on your GO Pass. There’s no limit to the amount of GO Points you can earn on Saturday and Sunday, November 15 to 16.
Rewards unlocked in GO Pass: Into the Wild must be claimed by Sunday, November 16, at 11:59 p.m. local time, so be sure to collect your rewards before they’re gone.
