Dark Flames Timed Research is a branching Timed Research quest that is available during the Dark Flames Event, from Thursday, June 29, at 10:00 AM to Sun, July 2, 2023 at 8:00 PM local time.
Trainers will be able to choose between paths focused on encounters with Fire and Dark type Pokémon. Completing the Dark Flames Timed Research will earn you 15,000 XP, a Premium Battle Pass, and encounters with event-themed Pokémon.

Dark Flames Collection Challenge
A Dark Flames themed Collection Challenge is available during the event. The type of Collection Challenge you get will depend on the Timed Research path you choose. Complete the Collection Challenge to earn 5,000 XP and 100 Mega Houndoom Energy.
Completing Stage 1 of the Dark Flames Timed Research and choosing a path will unlock a collection challenge based on your choice. You cannot complete both paths.
