Update on Yokohama Research Targets

The official Pokemon GO twitter account has shared the statistics on the progress of Blanche’s Research Task:

  • Team Mystic: 2.86M / 25M
  • Team Valor: 2.45M / 25M
  • Team Instinct: 1.76M / 25M
  • Attendees: 429k/2M

Not great, not terrible. Keep on working on it, stop slacking!

Giovanni Photo Bombs

Giovanni Photo Bombs were spotted at GO Fest Yokohama! Another Giovanni hint has dropped, this time in the form of AR photo bombs. Giovanni appears as a full character with a fully rigged and textured 3D model, similar to how Team GO Rocket Grunts appeared earlier this summer. If this event, follows the now well established tradition, Giovanni should be making an appearance in Pokemon GO relatively soon!

Shiny Alolan Sandshrew and Sandslash

It seems that shiny Alola Sandshrew and Sandslash have been released for GO Fest Yokohama attendees. There’s no word if these will be coming worldwide or not, but at least we know that they exist. An image proving it has been posted on reddit earlier today:
