Sleep researchers, a period of maintenance has been announced for Pokémon Sleep in order to update to version 2.3.0! It brings with it a host of updates, including preparation for the upcoming holiday event, new main skills for certain Pokémon, and adjustments to other Pokémon to make them more useful.
To update to the app’s new version, maintenance will be conducted in the following time period:

Main Skill Updates
Changes are coming to certain Pokémon main skills. The main skills of Pokémon you have already befriended will also change, and current main skill levels will be maintained after the update.
Ditto
- Before change: Charge Strength S
- After change: Transform (Skill Copy)
Mime Jr. and Mr. Mime
- Before change: Charge Strength S
- After change: Mimic (Skill Copy)
When either of these new main skills—Transform (Skill Copy) or Mimic (Skill Copy)—triggers, the main skill of one randomly chosen helper Pokémon on your team will trigger.
Pokémon Adjustments
Adjustments to certain helper Pokémon’s helping stats will occur during the update:
Arbok
- Frequency shortened slightly
Pikachu (Holiday)
- Frequency shortened slightly
- Carry limit increased
Cramorant
- Main skill chance increased slightly
Comfey
- Ingredient finding chance increased slightly
- Main skill chance increased slightly
New Features
- Preparation for the Holiday 2024 — Double Dream Shard Research event.
- Addition of a new Relaxing Sound “Forest”.
Game Contents
Adjustments to the mission screen
When you have already completed all the limited-time event missions and tap the mission button on the home screen, the weekly mission screen will pop up.
Changes to the effects and description of the Metronome main skill
- Before change: Uses one main skill chosen randomly out of all main skills.
- After change: Uses one main skill chosen randomly from a large selection of main skills.
- Certain special main skills that will be added in the future will not be triggered by Metronome.
Other
- Adjustments to Sleep Point Exchanges: Beginning on 1st January 2025 00:00, 1 Main Skill Seed will be included in the Regular Exchange.
