Pokémon GO’s August 18 – August 24 schedule brings the end of GO Fest season! Enjoy the Dark Skies event, the debut of Eternatus, and the GO Fest Finale! A truly bumper week of GO. Plus weekly Spotlight Hour, daily Raid/ Hours, Dynamax Battles, Mega Raids, GO Battle League Season 23, and Season‑long Delightful Days bonuses.

Weekly Pokémon GO Schedule

Max Monday

There is no Max Monday this week due to the rotating daily Max Battles as part of the Dark Skies event.


Spotlight Hour: Ralts

On Tuesday, August 19th, from 6 PM to 7 PM local time, Ralts will be the featured Pokémon for Spotlight Hour, along with 2× candy for catching Pokémon!


Raid Hours: Crowned Sword Zacian and Crowned Shield Zamazenta

On Thursday, August 21st, from 6 PM to 7 PM local time, Crowned Sword Zacian will be the featured Pokémon for Raid Hour!

On Friday, August 22nd, from 6 PM to 7 PM local time, Crowned Shield Zamazenta will be the featured Pokémon for Raid Hour!

Pokémon GO Dark Skies is a special worldwide event that runs from August 18, 2025 to August 23, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. local time. During this time, Trainers level 13 and above can brave a weeklong gauntlet of raids, Max Battles, and more for the chance to battle and catch every Dynamax and Gigantamax Pokémon that has appeared in Pokémon GO so far.

Pokémon GO Fest 2025: Max Finale Event

Pokémon GO Fest 2025: Max Finale is a special worldwide event that runs from August 23, 2025 at 10.00 a.m. to August 24, 2025, at 18:00 p.m. local time. During this time, Eternatmax Eternatus will take over the majority of Power Spots during Pokémon GO Fest 2025: Max Finale.


Raids

Five-Star Raids

From August 18th to August 24th, Necrozma will appear in the five-star raids.

From August 18th to August 20th, Zacian and Zamazenta will appear in the five-star raids.


Mega Raids

From August 18th to August 24th, Mega Pidgeot will appear in Mega Raids.


Shadow Raids

One-star and three-star Shadow Raids will be available daily, while five-star Shadow Raids will take place on Saturdays and Sundays unless otherwise noted. Also, Shadow Regirock will swoop into five-star Shadow Raids during Delightful Days! You may even encounter a Shiny Shadow Regirock—if you’re lucky!


Egg-pedition Access

Eggs-pedition Access returns during Delightful Days! Every month, Trainers will be able to purchase a ticket that includes bonuses and Timed Research. Trainers will also receive an Incubator with their first PokéStop or Gym Photo Disc spin every day!

GO Battle League Season 23

Pokémon GO Season of Delightful Days Season 23

GO Battle League: Delightful Days begins on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. PDT (GMT −7).

The following will occur at the beginning of the Season:

  • End-of-Season rewards will be available on the Battle screen.
  • Your GO Battle League rank will be reset.
  • Rank-up requirements will remain the same as the prior Season.
