On Monday, July 28th, from 6 PM to 7 PM local time, Dynamax Kabuto will appear in Max Battles! Dynamax Kabuto will continue to appear from July 28 to August 3 in Max Battles:
Spotlight Hour: Roggenrola
On Tuesday, July 29th, from 6 PM to 7 PM local time, Roggenrola will be the featured Pokémon for Spotlight Hour, along with 2× XP for evolving Pokémon!
Raid Hour: Virizion
On Wednesday, July 30th, from 6 PM to 7 PM local time, Virizion will be the featured Pokémon for Raid Hour!
Events in Pokémon GO This Week
Adventure Week
The Pokémon GO Adventure Week 2025 is a global event running from July 29 to August 3, 2025. This event introduces Toedscool to Pokémon GO, along with the debut of Shiny Wiglett! On top of that, enjoy bonuses 2x XP for catching Pokémon and two hour long Incense.
Fossil Research Day
The Pokémon GO Fossil Research Day is set to be held on August 2, 2025. This event will focus on the popular Gen 6 dino duo of Tyrunt and Amaura, which will be available from event-themed Field Research tasks with boosted Shiny rates. Additionally, you will also be able to catch several Fossil Pokémon during the event.
Gigantamax Butterfree Max Battle Day
Gigantamax Butterfree Max Battle Day takes place on Sunday August 3, 2:00 p.m to 5:00 p.m. local time! During the event, all Power Spots will host Gigantamax Battles, and Power Spots will refresh more frequently. If you’re lucky, you may encounter a Shiny Butterfree capable of Gigantamaxing!
Sweet Swarms
The Pokémon GO Sweet Swarm 2025 is a global event running from August 3 to August 6, 2025. This event features boost chances of encountering Shiny Combee and Shiny Swirlix! On top of that, enjoy one hour Lure Modules that are more likely to attract event themed Pokémon.

Five-Star Raids
From July 22nd to July 28th, Lunala will appear in the five-star raids.

Shadow Raids
One-star and three-star Shadow Raids will be available daily, while five-star Shadow Raids will take place on Saturdays and Sundays unless otherwise noted. Also, Shadow Registeel will swoop into five-star Shadow Raids during Delightful Days! You may even encounter a Shiny Shadow Registeel—if you’re lucky!
Egg-pedition Access
Eggs-pedition Access returns during Delightful Days! Every month, Trainers will be able to purchase a ticket that includes bonuses and Timed Research. Trainers will also receive an Incubator with their first PokéStop or Gym Photo Disc spin every day!
GO Battle League Season 23
GO Battle League: Delightful Days begins on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. PDT (GMT −7).
The following will occur at the beginning of the Season:
- End-of-Season rewards will be available on the Battle screen.
- Your GO Battle League rank will be reset.
- Rank-up requirements will remain the same as the prior Season.
