Season of Timeless Travels
January is the second month of Pokémon GO’s 13th Season, the Season of Timeless Travels, that runs from December 1, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. to March 1, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. local time. Timeless Travels focuses on Pokémon first found in the Hisui Region. Read more here.

During January 2024, Buzzwole, Xurkitree, Pheromosa and Therian Formes Tornadus, Thundurus and Landorus will be available during different time periods.

The New Years event runs on January 1, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to January 3, 2024 8:00 p.m. local time. Celebrate the start of 2024 with a grand event! Celebrate the start of the year with our New Year’s event! Keep an eye out for costumed Pokémon making their debuts, new avatar items, and the return of some familiar Pokémon wearing party hats. Rowlet Community Day runs on January 6, 2024, from 2:00 0.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time. Increased chance to encounter shiny Rowlet.
Lustrous Odyssey
On January 6, 2024 at 10:00 AM local time to January 10, 2024 at 8:00 PM local time is the Lustrous Odyssey event, with Dusk Form Lycanroc debuting.
Raid Day: Hisuian Typhlosion
The Hisuian Typhlosion Raid Day is on January 14, 2024 at 2:00pm local time until 5:00pm local time. During that time, Hisuian Typhlosion will appear more frequently in 3-Star Raids, and you may encounter a Shiny one! Only time will tell when Hisuian Typhlosion will return, so make sure you catch this opportunity!
Dazzling Dream
January 13, 2024 at 10:00am until January 16, 2024 at 8:00pm is the Dazzling Dream event. Shiny Cutiefly debuts, and Fairy type Pokémon feature!

The Taken Treasures event starts January 27, 2024, at 12:00 a.m. and ends February 1, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. local time. Paldean Pokémon Varoom makes their debut, along with new shadow Pokémon. Save Shadow Kyogre from Giovanni in the final part of the season special research!
