This Week in Pokémon GO: 14-20 November 2022

Coming this week in Pokémon GO, commencing 14th November we have the end of the Greedy Gluttons event, a Team GO Rocket Takeover, Singapore Safari Zone bringing the release of shiny Purrloin, and more!

Greedy Gluttons Event

The Greedy Gluttons event will take place from Wednesday November 9, 2022, from 10:00 am to Thursday November 17 8:00 pm local time.
Half Hatch Distance for the first 3 eggs hatched during the event using the Pokémon GO Egg hatching widget, available to download on Android and iOS devices.

The Big-Eater Pokémon Munchlax is making their shiny debut in Pokémon GO! Chonky Pokémon will be featured in the wild, raids and field research. Timed research will be available that will reward trainers with berries, including Silver Pinap Berries and Golden Razz Berries, and an encounter with Snorlax.

Team GO Rocket Takeover

The Team GO Rocket Takeover event will take place from Monday November 14, 2022, from 12:00 am to Thursday November 17 8:00 pm local time.

New Shadow Pokémon have been spotted with both the grunts and the Team GO Rocket Leaders, and Giovanni is back with Shadow Mewtwo! Shiny Pawniard will be making their debut in 12km eggs.

Safari Zone: Singapore

Purrloin

The Safari Zone Singapore takes place from November 18, 2022 to November 20, 2022. Shiny Purrloin will debut in Pokémon GO!

GO Battle League Season 12

GO Battle League: Season of Light will start on Thursday, September 1, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. PDT (GMT -7)
End-of-Season rewards will be available on the battle screen.
Your GO Battle League rank will be reset.
Rank-up requirements will remain the same as the prior Season.

Wednesday 16th November 6pm till 7pm local time Guzzlord will be appearing in raids for raid hour.

November 2022 Research Breakthrough

From November 1, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. PDT (GMT -7) to December 1, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. PST (GMT -8) Starmie will be featured in the research breakthrough box, and you will also be rewarded with a Star Piece.

Mega Raids

Gyarados (Mega)

From November 8 to November 23, 2022 Mega Gyarados will be appearing in Mega Raids.

Five Star Raids

Guzzlord

From November 8 to November 23, 2022, Guzzlord will be appearing in Five-Star Raids for the first time Pokémon GO.

With the Team GO Rocket takeover, Giovanni is armed with a Shadow Mewtwo! Complete Special Research to get a Super Rocket Radar to battle and defeat Giovanni, and save Shadow Mewtwo from his clutches. The special research story will be available to claim until the end of the Season of Light on December 1, 2022 10:00am local time.
